What a great little find this was for us. Such a relaxed location, coffee and brownies, under the mango tree. Typical NSW small (historic) town. Lots of places in the town to visit after your coffee.

Beautiful outside seating area that's dog friendly. Toasties were next level! I highly recommend the Trev with Ocean trout. Others loved the Betty Lou and Day Break. Prices were a little high for a toastie but the flavour is as good as any fine dining experience. Fresh juices for $7.50 were a bit exe but super tasty too

Possibly the best toasted sourdough sandwich I have ever eaten plus a delicious sourdough Portuguese tart and brownie combo. It also sits in the most beautiful little shared space between an antique shop and a whole foods vendor. Highly recommended.

My nephew was up from Wollongong and had been trying milkshakes at lots of places around the mid north coast.Well, in his 11-year-old opinion.. it is that Steam & Cedar that have the best chocolate milkshake on the coast or anywhere. When asked why it was the best he stated, the chocolate, icecream, chocolate chips, cream, strawberry... there more but you get the idea...Food was quick and also great..Would totally recommend

This place absolutely smashed it for me!The toasties are awesome! I had a smoked trout one and it was perfect. The coffee is just as good and the atmosphere is perfect on a sunny day. Out the back is a nice place for kids to roam on the grass. Service is great and owner will do anything to please. We will be back for sure when we are in the area. Nice to see a quality cafe on the mid north coast.

I love the food at this cafe so much! The Portuguese Tarts are the best I have ever had. They have some really interesting toastie flavours - the trout special 'Trev' was amazing. The coffee is also really good. Get in early because they do sell out of some stuff on busy days.Big yard for kids to run around in. Pet friendly. There is a 20% public holiday surcharge.

It is so nice to find such a quaint little coffee and food shop. The coffee is locally roasted and is outstanding. The food fresh, full of flavour and so morish. It is a shame it is only open Wednesday to Sunday. Have attached current menu. Absolutely a must if your are in the area or visiting south west rocks.

Very tasty mainly vegetarian sourdough toasties as a main for lunch. Great coffee. Choice of cakes and home-made biscuits. Home-made ice-cream a treat.Seating is spaced out around the front and back garden area on a variety of shabby chic kind of furniture. Prices are reasonable.Off the garden area is a variety of shops from unusual furniture and crafted wooden tables and vessel holders to health food, clothes and other assortments to explore.

The place was recommended to us by a friend. Turned out to be a great place to stop for lunch. The toasted sandwiches were epic
