As a young 19 year old female I’ve been ripped off by a few mechanics in the past. I toke my car in for a service today and Max took me through each issue and explained why these were problems and recommend the best solution for my car. He explained the costs involved and recommend the priorities for my budget. Excellent pricing, excellent customer service.Would highly recommend Max and “a. Budget Brakes”.

Was quite disappointed considering his good reviews. I booked for my car to have front brakes done over 3 weeks ago as he was the cheapest I found he told me he would order the part and would be here round 5th June. I called him to get an update, he said he would follow it up & get back to me and again he didn't i had to call him again and was told he's a 1 man workshop and Repco didn't have the part blah blah blah so not a good review from me as I could've had my brakes sorted by now instead of waiting over 3 weeks

Hands down the most honest mechanic I’ve ever been to. Will tell you exactly what the problem is and show you what he’s done step by step if you ask. Very affordable pricing too. Will recommend to all.

SCAM ARTISTS - STAY AWAY!!! I work away 3 weeks out of the month so hired one of their mobile mechanics named 'Danny' to do a roadworthy for my elderly Mother's vehicle she has been forced to sell, he failed the inspection then stuck her with a $2400 bill for repairs before he would pass it!! The vehicle is 4 years old immaculate shape and has less than 50k on it, absolute robbery. Luckily she rang me before getting back to this crook. You hear about these dodgy mobile mechanics and this is one of them, have issued a complaint with OFT as well. I just feel bad for all the others this mob has taken advantage of.

Daniel was really nice and helpful. I was travelling and needed assistance and he was happy to help even though it was a Saturday and he had other jobs on. He knew his stuff and seemed like a good mechanic. I offered him some extra $ for helping me out and he politely refused the extra. The price for the job was very good too. Thanks Daniel!

Great service; got the part needed quick as and was the cheapest quote I received for the part and installation. Seems to genuinely want to help rather than just chasing money.
