ZigZag Theatre

ZigZag Theatre is absolutely wonderful for both my kids. The tutor works beautifully across the different age groups with activities and skill- development tailored to each cohort. My youngest enjoys craft, stories and dramatic movement at ZigZag Tots and my eldest learns about characterization, movement and dramatic body positioning whilst developing communication and connection with like-minded peers. I'd highly recommend ZigZag Theatre to all parents. It's a wonderful, confidence and skill building opportunity for your children.

Errenn and her team at ZIG ZAG THEATRE are simply amazzzzzzzzzzzzzzing!! My stepson Will joined last year mid term and was made to feel so very welcome from the start. He showed an interest in drama classes when he started high school last year, so we enrolled him at Zig Zag to further explore his interest. It has helped his confidence enormously and given him some great acting skills and techniques too. So much so that Will auditioned for a play at Little Gold Coast Theatre towards the end of last year and secured a place on the cast - which he throughly enjoyed. Thanks Erren for helping to nurture his fledgling interest in drama - we very much appreciate your passing on your skills and we are looking forward to seeing where it takes him ;o)

My girls have loved ZigZag theatre - the classes are excellent for confidence and communication skills, as well as technical theatre skills. The team are super friendly and helpful, and really out their heart and soul into it all. Highly recommend!

My son Izaac is a vibrant, unique little individual living his best life with ASD. We have not gone without our challenges navigating his pathway through AUTISM as Anxiety and social settings make it difficult for Izaac to find team sports or outside school activities but one of the things I have stayed true to is encouraging him to be WHO he is and strive WHAT HE wants in life. For Izaac acting and theatre is a way to be who he is without judgement. For the past 3 years he attends Zig Zag Theatre with Errenn every week and would never miss a class!!!!Errenn is an amazing and patient teacher who creates a safe space for the children to express who they want to be through theatre.Her classes are structured in a way all the children feel comfortable at any level and all come out with beaming smiles!!! In the words of Izaac ‘The best and sweetest Acting Teacher ever’..

This is the second school holiday class Sophia has been to and she said it was great fun. This time she went with two friends (6 &11) and they were all so excited when I picked them up. Zig Zag is well run, the teachers are empathetic and skilled and I’d recommend the experience to all ages.

I can't recommend ZigZag Theatre more highly! Errenn is an amazing and accomplished drama teacher (she also teaches for NIDA!) who totally gets kids and draws the best from them to make them feel great about themselves and their place in the world. The lessons are fun and perfectly pitched.

Everyone at Zigzag is great! We love that the children are involved in the whole creative process, they are not simply reciting a script like in other schools. it was great for my 7yo daughter confidence, communication skills and imagination. Highly recommended!

I cannot recomend Zigzag theatre enough! I never post Google reviews but wanted to express how special my daughters experience was at Zigzag. We attended Zigzag Tots which was perfectly pitched to my young daughters level. I am a theatre practitioner myself and so had very high expectations of this class. After going on A Bear Hunt, which was transformed into a playful imaginative journey by Errenn, my daughter and I were both positively beaming! Errenn was fantasic with all the children, she was very approachable and professional. If your looking for a midweek acitvity that enriches creativity and fun this class is not to be missed. I highly recomend it to young children and parents alike!
