Amazing and generous food as always. The pizza and pasta are simply Devine as is the reef and reef. Staff are fantastic and a credit to the company.

Two nights in Mt Barker and this was the only place open. Luckily it was great. My chicken parm was actually a chicken breast. Not flattened and no crumbs. And my wife's steak sandwich also good. So looking forward to coming back tomorrow

Should probably have gone for one of the fries options as the potato mash curry wasn't too tasty and unfortunately took a very long time.But the staff was nice afterwards, so would give it a 2nd chance next time :)

Only had the soup, menu is otherwise all burgers and parmis, nothing exciting or vaguely healthy. That’s ok, typical country pub. But soup took 45 min to arrive. Nice soup, but 45min! There’s a laminated sign on all the tables warning (after you order at the bar) that food can take up to an hour, so don’t be rude to the staff when you’re waiting. You’d have to assume it happens a lot if they’ve bothered doing a sign. There’s only two pubs in Mt Barker and they are the only places you can get dinner, so it’s not like there’s a lot of choice. At least if you like American sports there are two enormous TV’s in the main bar to stare at while you wait. Bar lady was very nice. But food, they need to pick up their game.

Steak was cooked to perfection, surf 'n' bird was great with perfect amount of sauce. Food come out in good time. All parties left happy with full tummies.

I'd probably avoid the bistro for a meal, however this is Mt Barker and nothing is open for dinner. The pulled pork loaded fries was definitely not pulled pork, I'd say it was pork mince that was drowned in BBQ sauce. There was a chip shortage so only had wedges to serve it all meals. It was nothing special as far as food goes at this bar.The staff were friendly and nice which was nice to see.Disappointed with all of Mt Barker, they could really deliver something special here.
