5 staff members in store with zero customers, was told the earliest they can get us in was in 4 days. Walk in wait line was 4 hours with all the staff sitting down drinking coffee.

Wait times are ridiculous here, terrible customer service, don't waste your time. Staff were rude as well, they think it's great that wait times are long. FYI telstra Smithfield, your wait times are long because you are slow, nit because of demand.

If I could award a negative star, I would. Unfortunately it's impossible. My friend and I have been Telstra customers for an eternity. Both of us required urgent assistance, for different matters. I have been trying to cancel my services with Telstra for over 3 weeks now after 4 fraud attacks on my account in 12 months. I went in store to Smithfield to try for the 50th time to cancel my services, to be told a hold was on my account and to call the fraud department as there's nothing they can do otherwise. I do this in store and am told the hold is now removed (later find out it wasn't, they just wanted to be rid of the problem so said it was) I speak to staff again to find out my time with them is now over and they take my number to call me back that day and surprise surprise I never heard from them. Telstra is by far the worst service provider on the planet and the staff in this store are one in the same.

Had the best experience at the telstra shop smithfield.. I couldn't have been happier.. I walked out with a new phone and a cheaper bill. Chris the consultant was absolutely amazing with helping me with my new products and help me understand my bill.. I have never had such a positive experience with telstra before.. Thankyou Chris !!!

Terrible delays and service. Came in to get a new phone and after waiting for 1.5 hours I was told I'd have to wait 24hrs, in 20yrs of buying phones I've never had this issue. Then I come back for the pre planned appointment, another 45 drive one way to be told the phone phone account still has issues. I have no credit issues so this is purely a Telstra problem . No call beforehand, no one had checked to see if it was ready. And on top of this the sales person didn't get the accessories I needed for my other device on my first trip to the store. And blaming the system and not taking accountability for poor service just adds to this 1 star rating.

Worst store I have ever been to. Won't return calls, went to ask a question on a Saturday, no appointment, had 1 customer with a staff member and 2 others staring at me not willing to listen as I didn't have an appointment. Absolutely ridiculous.
