Looking for some authentic Italian cuisine that you would expect to find in Italy? Where the food is based on a combination of fresh ingredients rather than complex and rich sauces? Numero Uno is the only choice. A family run restaurant, where the care in food preparation extends to the table service. One of the best Italian food experiences available in Perth today. Highly recommended!

Friday night, we decided to head to this Italian restaurant.I didn't know this restaurant is a BYO restaurant, but luckily the bottle shop is just around the corner.The waitress is pleasant; she welcomed us and showed us to our table.We ordered the zucchini flowers filled with ricotta lightly floured, and deep fried served with a reduced honey vinaigrette and sundried tomatoes.As for mains, we ordered Spaghetti Merlino, pasta with prawns, red emperor, whiting, scallops, white wine and fresh tomato pieces. The pasta is al dente, and the seafood serving is very generous.The second main we ordered the pan-fried beef fillet scaloppini in a cashew nut, cream and sweet marsala sauce served with potato bake and fried English spinach.My recommendation, I love the zucchini flower and also the spaghetti Merlino. I will come back again to try their pasta and risottos.After all the mains and entree we are so full. We didn't get to order any of their desserts.

Food was a solid 7.5/10 … however, the worst waitressing I have ever seen. It took ages to be served. When we finally were, we were frantically forced to order our entree and main, not given the option to decide our main later. Every single plate brought out was practically thrown onto the table and slammed down. The waitresses showed no care or sense hospitality when speaking with us.

Beautiful food but I personally found it expensive for my budget. Will return when I have more money mmmmmm. The service is so good!!!!

Amazing menu .....but that's the 2 stars. Service staff not friendly no personality and the restaurant has no ambience. Sorry I wouldn't go back.

They have normally tasty food. I am not sure if they change their chef because we were there for dinner last week. It was so dissapointed time. Food was average. My octopus with salad was too salty then my risoto di mare was salty too. My husband asked for squids but they brought prawns. Then he asked for pork and they brought a piece of fatty pork (80% fat and 20% meat). He didn't eat it. The bread was not fresh. We don't enjoy it. Music is beautiful.Today was really good food!

We went there Sat night for a golf group Christmas dinner. Food and service were excellent. The place was full with great Italian vibe.

A cult favourite! It's just bloody great Italian food, you can't go wrong. BYO alcohol is a bonus. Best to book as they are always busy!

Authentic Italian food,Top marks for service and food. Must try restaurant. Reasonably priced. Still doing great year after year after year.
