Having been here in times past, we would not miss it whilst visiting Ulverstone. A fantastic range of antique items including China which interested 'lady of the house' on this occasion. And she successfully purchased a number of items. Happy wife, happy life! Over two days we were assisted by two staff ladies who were most helpful.

Ulverstone lays claim to the longest-established antiques shop in Tasmania, a worthwhile stop if you want to make a unique find.The Leven Antiques Centre on King Edward Street has a massive catalogue, spanning everything from sterling silver to collectibles, art, jewellery, Georgian glass, textiles, ceramics going back to the 1700s, art deco items, books, coins, fine art, retro/kitsch and much more besides.The owner is a member of the Australian Antiques & Art Dealers Association, and dedicated shoppers could easily pass several hours hunting for that something special.

Browsers paradise. I think I spent an hour here. So many interesting rooms and the owner can fill you in on all the many tea sets, China, lamps, decor and household pieces available.
