No customer service or communication to theircustomers.They claim on their tv advert. That BenAir is Bendigo's best.Well, I was appalled by their service. The admin staff yelled at me for ringing to enquire if they had obtained a fan for my heater that had broken down.In waiting just in six weeks for BenAir to act; I was freezing in my home. By cold.I took the matters into my own hands and within three days. Had ordered the fan through another Bendigo company and had also arranged to get another registered plumber from another Bendigo plumbing business to install the fan into my unit.I got a call from BenAir yesterday stating they cannot get a fan for my unit. So I told them straight. What I did myself.I was appalled that they sat on their hands for six weeks and wouldn't track down a fan for me.Considering, I brought the heater five years ago from benAir.Not a happy customer.Benair want your money Asap but do not wish to provide follow up service.Go elsewhere in Bendigo is my review. As customer service is not their follow up service.

Will never use them again. Regret using them previously for our home and for our van. The last experience makes me doubt the quality and costs of what they previously provided. I purposely didn’t rush posting this to avoid any overreaction in the heat of the moment.

Have used this service a couple of times to annual service my evap cooler. During my most recent service I paid a non negotiable $160 for a simple solenoid valve replacement at the same time as as service for $150. $310 total for 45 mins work and $50 in parts. Pretty good going... turns out the unit was still faulty after they left, the tech did say “the pump isn’t pumping as hard as it should”. I jumped on the roof to see that it wasn’t getting water to the pads at all. I called back and they came back out on short notice which was great - knowing the pump would likely need to be done but for some reason didn’t bring a pump suitable. Quoted $230 to supply part only and that was supposedly cost price according a blunt Sharon. I picked a pump up the same day from Actrol for retail price at $87.66 and fitted it myself in 10mins. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but 300% mark up and $150+ hourly rate and multiple visits and blunt staff is not the way to get repeat business. Thought you might like to know how your customers are feeling.

Called Ben Air as they took over the company that installed my ducted system 18 years ago. Was told they couldn't source the replacement part I needed and would have to replace the whole unit. However, Sandhurst Air Conditioning DID find the part and replaced it. SO glad I called around.

Came within a couple of days, needed a new dump valve in our evap cooler, also replaced pads that were 14 years old,all done within a week as had to order new valve and pads, very happy with the end result and great to deal with,all the staff were great, will use them again.

I contacted Benair to quote on an evaporative cooler. Initially they were very polite and eager to discuss options and plans. I agreed to proceed to a quote. They requested a floor plan of my house which I supplied one day later. Several days later I contacted Benair to ask how the quote was progressing and I was assured that it would be emailed to me one business day later. A week later I had received no contact so I contacted again. Later in the day I received a call to inform me that my quote had not progressed and was unlikely to in the foreseeable future due to their current installation workload. When I discussed their current workload and said that that their timelines for installation were OK with me, they still refused to provide a timeline on when a quote could be provided. At this point it was apparent to me that I was being told that my business was not valued or wanted. I proceeded no further. I am aware that this is the peak air conditioning season, however their approach to prior commitments, customer serivce or even common courtesy was lacking. I will not be calling Benair for any of my future house cooling and heating needs.

Justin just attended to see to a warranty issue. The appliance was installed by another company. He was professional, extremely personable and a pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend Justin.

Fantastic customer service. Tony was excellent at explaining the difference between ducted units when helping us decide. The team that installed the unit were all friendly, worked quickly and to a high standard.... they all took the time to give our dog a pat each time they walked past her as she had to be chained up for them to be able to work. Highly recommend

Appalled and disappointed is an understatement. It’s been nearly 7 months and they are yet to fix our evap cooling unit…. Each time they come out it’s a new problem or a new part they need… are not responsive at all…. They aren’t reliable when it comes to appointments for them to “fix” things. The lady I spoke to on the phone last time was so rude after I’d made a complaint about it still not being fixed. Stating that it was my fault cause I didn’t answer the phone one time to reschedule when I was at WORK….which didn’t make up for all the other times they had cancelled on me without notice or just didn’t rock up…. Would not recommend at all.

Can not figure how this mob are still in business worst experience in my life
