Dr Dan Robinson

I came to Dr Dan Robinson seeking help with breathing through my nose due to my cleft palate. I advised him I had had previous surgeries to my nose, the latest being two years prior. This surgery was a cosmetic procedure and I didn’t want the look changed, I was unhappy with one aspect of the shape but wasn’t willing to ruin the look altogether with another surgery. I was advised by Dr Robinson that the look of the nose would not change and I would be able to breathe a lot better.Unfortunately, all outcomes from this surgery have been a complete failure. I have been left with one overly large nostril that drips with no feeling in it at all and one tiny nostril that I can’t breathe out of (worse than prior to surgery) it is so small in fact that I can’t even clear any build up when I have a cold or flu as it won’t fit a pinky. A big bulb on the end of my nose that’s is uneven. This has had a huge impact on my confidence as it has completely changed the shape and look of my face. After 30+ years trying to not look like I have a cleft by surgeries and procedures I’m back to square one. Although when I told him I was unhappy he replied with I think it looks better.I was advised by Dr Robinson in hospital the day after my surgery that my nose was an internal mess and he would not enter it again due to potential collapse so any option of rectification was off the table in the first 24 hours. Basically, hey your nose was harder than I thought and I’ve done what I can but I won’t be going back in. I then had to be admitted two weeks post op and put on antibiotics for an infection. I’ve spoken to numerous surgeons here and internationally about fixing this and am waiting to hear back as to if it is even possible. If I am left with this botched nose I will be doing everything in my power to ensure it doesn’t happen to anyone else. STAY CLEAR

I underwent a septorhinoplasty with Dr Dan Robinson in September 2021. I was very particular with choosing my surgeon, so after researching for the most qualified surgeon for this procedure in Queensland I am so happy with my decision. Functionally and cosmetically i am very pleased with the results. Dr Dan is very easy going, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.

I was referred to Dr Robinson by my GP for breathing problems and ended up having a septorhinoplasty. I will admit I was very hesitant to proceed, knowing so many friends that have been unhappy with their results from other surgeons here in Australia.I am so glad I proceeded. Dr Robinson was a true professional, but also very down to earth. When you are having these sorts of procedures, it really helps to have a surgeon that makes you feel comfortable.I am also extremely happy with the results. My breathing has improved exponentially, and I am absolutely obsessed with the shape of my new nose.Dr Robinson was able to envisage what I was after, but accomodate it to suit my facial structure. My friends that know I have had the procedure are blown away by the results, but it looks very natural. You otherwise would not know work has been done, which at the one month mark is very impressive.I highly recommend Dr Robinson to anyone seeking an ENT.

I could not recommend Dr Dan more.Him and his whole team at ENT are so lovely and attentive.Dr Dan has an approach that is incredibly professional and friendly at the same time.I instantly felt comfortable with him during my consultations and could not be happier with the result.My breathing has been completely fixed and my nose is perfectly proportioned to my face. The healing has been really fast and the results so far are beautiful, I have my confidence restored.I could not recommend him enough! Incredible.

I was recommended to Dr Dan Robinson after I showed my GP a weird looking 'thing' in my nose. Dan diagnosed an inverted nasal papilloma, which was aggressive and we scheduled surgery promptly. The surgery went very well and as these papillomas/tumours have a high recurrence rate I needed to see Dan for surveillance for 5 years. Dan told me that I would need reconstruction eventually due to significant internal scarring which impacted my breathing.I'm delighted to say I'm 5 weeks post op. I've had a fabulous result, minimal bruising, and it certainly looks a lot prettier too. Dan has been a wonderful, caring and professional surgeon from the very beginning and I would not hesitate in recommending him.

I was recommended by my GP to see Dr Dan Robinson, which I am very thankful for. My GP said herself “I want to send you to the best” and I was not disappointed. Dr Robinson is very professional, experienced and understanding. My breathing and day to day life has improved majorly since my surgery. I suggest to anyone having ENT related concerns to consult with Dan as it was a great process and result.

I can’t thank you enough for my operation I had rhino plater surgery done.definitely I highly recommend seeing Dan if you have trouble breathing life changing operation for me I can breath properly now.

I’m currently 3 weeks post-op from a functional rhinoplasty, septoplasty, bone allograft and turbinate reduction - I also opted to have my nasal hump removed. Can I just say, my experience, surgery and recovery with Dr Robinson has been absolutely flawless. In fact, even if the swelling wasn’t to reduce further (it will), I’d be happy with my nose. I could immediately breathe better after surgery, despite the internal and external swelling. The bruising wasn’t anywhere near as bad as I expected and my recovery has been very uneventful. Visually, my nose looks so much better than I anticipated too!In all, I would 100% recommend Dr Robinson to my friends and family.

I would highly recommend Dr Dan! My 13 year old son underwent turbinate reduction and nasal surgery and is now 4 weeks post op and he feels like a new kid! Not only has his breathing improved but so has his allergies and general wellness. Dr Dan quickly established rapport with my son, was caring on the day of surgery and his post operative care has also been wonderful. We can’t thank him enough.
