QBE Insurance

I just contacted QBE Insurance by telephone to ask for information regarding taking out an insurance policy. I was on hold for 10 minutes after which my call was answered by a woman who was in transit and therefore had difficulty hearing me. She was extremely rude and had no interest in handling my call and ended up transferring me to another number so she didn't have to. I was then on hold again for another period of time before giving up. If this is QBE's idea of customer service, I recommend looking for another insurance company.

Well as a new customer i can only say i got good service and a great price for my new car insurance.looking at all these reviews it's very scary thinking that I have parted with good money . but I cannot condemn them until I have to make a claim.

Have been with them at last 6 years, normally very good in the past but now their clearly more interested in saving money then employing enough staff to man the phones. 2 hours in hold is entirely unacceptable. The lady in the phone once I got through was lovely though, surprisingly since I would imagine their staff are over worked and under paid, morale must be great. Fees have also gone up 3 fold since last year.

The absolute worst experience of my life has been trying to contact this useless company.I have been hung up on 3 times, wait times on hold are over an hour, and nobody has any clear information about your claim.They will never contact you, you are the one who has to call them about anything regarding your claims.Do not pay this company a cent of your money.

If I could give 0 stars I would!! Been with QBE for years and never made a claim. Premiums have gone down over the years which has been great but this year the premium trippled. I get rising costs and all that but TRIPLE! With no claims and no major changes to the policy (other than QBE lowering my agreed value each year). Definitely shopping elsewhere!

Who is going to pay my Uber trips to get to work?????? Where is my car?????? When is going to be fixed????I REPEAT: DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, READ THE REVIEWS FIRST!!!!!!!!!!

They took 2 months to fix my car. while it's not my fault (one person hit my car). and I have to talk to a lot of their employees, they don't know the story of my car, and I have to tell about my car every time I talk. and they often lose connection when i complain about their delay. they only know how to take money from customers and handle it unprofessionally.

Save yourself the stress and frustration and don’t insure with QBE. I had a truck hit my parked vehicle causing it to be written off and QBE was their insurer. Wait times on the phone over 2 hours. I sent multiple emails that went unanswered and months on I am still waiting for reimbursement of out of pocket costs. Completely unacceptable!

Zero ServiceStaff that work on the phone calls don't know anything.Even though they just transfer you here to there and they just waste your whole time on hold, and no one care about customer service .

Absolutely disgusting service! Or should I say lack of service. I have been trying to get through to QBE for a month now and can not get through. I have sat on hold for over 4 hours and still not been answered. I have sent multiple emails over weeks and had no response at all. After this experience I will be sure to advise people not to use QBE. I’m driving around an unsafe vehicle almost a month after the accident due to QBE not getting back to me or answering their phones or emails. Never experienced something so difficult in my life. Next step is looking like I will have to seek legal action unfortunately. What a stressful/ difficult experience. Absolutely disgusting.
