Good knowledgeable advice that's unfortunately on the decline with the competitors.++ Decent range of the essential stuff for a variety of small pets.+ Fair collection of wide range of animals eg rats, birds, rabbits, fish,...etc-- Small size shop, so things look a bit over crowded.-- Small range of animals of each type to choose from

I took my bird to have his wings clipped today, they where very friendly and gave some great advice... They are fantastic with birds after having a not so good experience elsewhere with my birds wings I can say for sure this will be the only place I will take him. Thank you central pet

I love this pet shop!! It always has a wide range of birds and fish as well as some reptiles and other smalls animals. The owner and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They even offer small animals vacation care!!

DO NOT BUY RATS FROM HERE.I bought a lovely mannered rat from this store and after 2 days I noticed his health getting very bad- Heavy breathing- trouble breathing and he was very very sick- Turns out he had Respiratory INFECTION. I was going to buy a rat from a breeder, I really should have but that does not defeat the point of how BAD pet shop rats are- the animals themselves aren't at fault, But for the pet shop to be selling those poor sick pets is just shocking and horrible. IT IS AWFUL seeing pet shop animals in pain and suffering. I get told to take the rat back for a refund or a replacement animal, YOU CANNOT REPLACE LIFE. They shouldn't be selling suffering animals either! IT'S PLAIN WRONG SELLING SICK LIVING BEINGS.
