I am actually really suprised at all the bad comments and ratings on this place. ive ordered here through uber eats maybe 10 times and only 1 time i was slightly dissapointed. Normal chips are not great but the beer battered chips are worth a go, all the burgers are delicious and the cod is pretty good too.also you cant really complain about cold chips if you order delivery

Poor quality fish and chips. Ordered two snappers, one grilled and one crumbed. Both were really small and I'm doubtful they were even snapper. Both looked to be cut into smaller sizes.Grilled snapper was wet looking.Chips were even overcooked.Won't be going here again.

I order through DoorDash from here regularly and my food is always served hot to me. The whiting is beautiful and give the beer battered chips a go - yum! I'm a very happy customer of Grilled Fish, Clayfield.

The worst fish and chips I ever had.Saggy and disgusting fishes with super dried out lemons, cold chips and something that only looks like calamari!By the way their $7 Greek salad is basically garden salad with three pieces of cheese and a few dried out olives!Feeling guilty that I have to put all in the bin, and feeling angry for being ripped off!

Potato scallops or potato cakes... What ever you call them, their sweet potato version is absolutely amazing!!! I've tried sweet potato scallops once before, and they were ok.. but here they are awesome!!!Lovely staff too..

Grilled Barra was a small serving and didn't taste nice, it was sitting in a pool of water inside the container. Tasted dry once you got through the sogginess. Only ate half of it!Scallops were too thick. Not bad I suppose if you love the taste of powdered potato.Chips were good, nothing special though.Chicken salt was the winner in this round.

I just had a Hamburger with the Lot and it took me back to my childhood when they were made this way! EPIC! It was the best burger I have had in QLD!

Only choice my daughter and I had for dinner on Boxing Day after flying in from Sydney, but it was the only choice we needed. Fish, calamari and chips the first night, burgers the second night with hubby and son as well. Great food, great service and only disappointed that we don't live in the area. Highly recommend!

Freshest fat piece of cod with excellent crispy batter. Get the beer battered chips. EDIT - ordered a 2nd time couple weeks later, thin piece of average cod with overly thick batter. Beer battered chips still good. 5* down to 3*.

$17 for over cooked poor quality fish and chips with a dried out tiny piece of lemon. $1.50 extra if you want a small tub of sauce.
