staff were good but the food had no flavour and the rice was dried out. prices were high compared to the portion sizes.

Absolutely appalling went to dinner payed $30 for a microwave meal that was stuck to the plate, then it came to getting drinks I ordered a drink and it sat on the counter for 30mins until I got up and got it my self, don’t even get me started on the customer service staff didn’t come around to clear the table when empty cups, bottles or plates were on the table we had to clear the table ourselves and put the plates behind the counter so we could continue our meal and drinks, there were no thanks from the staff, the kitchen staff appeared to be drinking alcohol on shift, the list goes on.I will not be returning to any of the franchises again

Had a great birthday meal at the new location! The food was fresh and delicious, just as I remember it from years ago. The service was excellent, very nice staff. I liked the new location, the restaurant is fresh and designed nicely. We had the dips to start, and most of us had the combination enchilada dinner (with one beef and one chicken enchilada, beans and rice) #27 Durango. It was delicious, and next time I will go back to my old favourite, Montezuma's Delight (for a lighter alternative).

Got given the smallest container possible when I ordered take away queso fundido .Two of them wouldn’t even make up half of what you are usually meant to get :(here is the dip next to a shot glass for reference

Food was dry and tasteless for the price. Looked over grilled. Service was so slow and slack. We won’t be eating here again.

Always a great experience. Wait staff are attentive and the team are really pushing to impress in their new location. Foods great as per usual, I find the serving sizes are quite generous. On site parking isn’t great but there is on street and parking available next door after 5pm.

Unfortunately Montezumas is definitely not what it used to be!The only thing worse than the food was the service!Genuinely mind blown at the lack of service with the venue only being jalf full it still took over 30 minutes to get drinks!The $5 pepsi has less than 200ml of actual drink in it.The food was flavourless and the portion sizes for the price laughable at best!Even 1 star was generous in my opinion!We had to clear our own table half way through the meal aswell just garbage service unfortunately.R.I.P Montezumas

We had dinner here for my sons birthday and our food was very nice with big servings. In fact, we all took leftovers home with us. Enchiladas did lack a little taste though. The Margaritas were delicious but quite pricey. The left over makings of the margaritas were bought out to us in a glass, which was excellent. I have seen places where they won’t give you the extras or charge you for them.The only annoying thing of the evening was a table of six came in after us and got served first.

Looks like these new owners have taken over the Montezumas that was further down the road. They were awesome. Really wish the cooks had gone to the new place! Wish Barbara had not retired and came across as well lolWe were a party of 11, not all meals and drinks pictured. Delayed review, visit was on 16/09/22.We really want this Montezumas to succeed. It really is a family favourite restaurant, and whilst we’re glad you’re here, we want what we had before - please and thank you!Your new place is great, roomy, the artefacts are there, good lighting and general vibe and ambience is pleasant. The restaurant was full, so that is always a good sign.What’s not so great is the corn chips. Or rather the tortilla that is cut up in triangles and fried. Pls stop doing that. The oil that you’re frying them in is not fresh oil and the chips give off a stale odour. Please just serve normal, regular corn chips - warmed up, salsas - done.I was told the seafood dish was a but watery, and whilst I didn’t eat it, it wasn’t aesthetically pleasing. For that price, it should have looked and tasted great.You have enough service staff, but your kitchen seems short staffed. They certainly should be praised for the hard work they did, catering to a full capacity of patrons.The vegetarian meals were ok…and definitely could be better. The beans are just too bland and the tortilla chips kinda let the dish down.Parking is atrocious. It’s better to park opposite in the shopping centre and walk across.Will definitely visit again, but really hope the food tastes better. However, we sincerely wish you all the best and hope you’re around for a really long time. Adios!
