Flaked Out Fish & Chippery

This place has been around for ages and it always serves half decent fish and chips. The owners are honest and super friendly! Easy to find parking .Reasonable prices. Standard quality local fish n chips. Been coming here every now n then since i was a kid and i will keep on coming.

Best fish and chips I've had in melbourne in a very long time. Even with the 2022/2023 inflation the prices on most things are still good which will keep most people coming back.Great chicken souvlakis always come here for this.Chicken Schnitzel burger is great and well priced.With the lot beef burger one of the best i've ever had.I'm not normally a chip eater from fish and chips because most places suck - This place does awesome chips and their potato cakes are the best I've ever had.Service is always friendly and they are quick too. 15min before closing, place a pick up order over the phone, food is perfectly cooked hot and fresh and best part is they won't turn down your order even when close to closing time.Have yet to try the fish here, but am making my way through the menu, hard to try different things when the souvlakis and burgers are so good.I've been coming here on and off for the last few years, it seems to have gotten better over the years.Hopefully nothing changes unless it's for the better moving forward as this is probably the best fish and chip shop i've found over the years.

ordered a lamb souvlaki, full of lettuce, could barley find any lamb

First time we've been here but definitely won't be the last. Food was great. We were recommended this fish and chips and we'd recommend it easily

My friend and I had chicken souvlaki's here last week and the marinate for the chicken was amazing. I don't know what they put in it but it tasted so fkn good. U have to take ur family here <3

This is absolutely one of Melbourne's best fish and chip shops. The service was great and the food was crunchy and delicious. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of the food, but it was really delicious. We will definitely be returning here again for fish and chips.

Uber stuffed up my order but due to the the team at Flaked Out, they made a new meal and personally delivered, this is exceptional service which is matched by their amazing food.Don’t overlook them when wanting a great meal and service. They are the very best!!!

Nice place, very clean, no oily, stale fried food smells and plenty of room to sit and eat. The menu is extensive and well priced. I ordered flake, chips dimsims and potato cakes. The flake was freshly sliced and cooked and one piece was enough for 2 of us. All food was well cooked and drained so no residual oil. All food was crispy on the outside and creamy smooth inside. The fish and potato cakes were the stand out.

Great and fast service offering very delicious fish and chips.We ordered Barramundi, Chips (next time I’ll get less chips — this was far too much), Hamburger with added Bacon & Onion, Crab Stick, Calamari Rings, and Spring Roll. Paid $28.70, which was good value.The only thing we weren’t big fans of was the Spring Roll — it wasn’t good.As a whole, very happy that we have a good fish and chips shop nearby.
