The Barber Shop Port Douglas

Was ok. Didn't cut my hair as good as my local barber. A few other reviews have said this guy is rude to younger people and refuses to cut some peoples hair. Well he did make me wait 10 minute after he finished cutting the guys hair before me so he could go outside have a smoke and call his wife. He hardly spoke to me because he thought I was just another tourist and he got a little offended when I asked him if he was a true local or original from somewhere else.As much as a good chat with a local barber is good (which this guy didn't give. Odd for someone living in a tourist town) but you really go to get your hair cut and even tho it wasn't the best cut it was ok.

Had a great experience just walking in today off the streets. This guy knows how to cut hair and to listen to the customer. I explained what I wanted and told him about the wrong cut I had last time (as I’m travelling) and he agreed. Sorted everything out and very happy with my cut. At 44 years of balding hair he has made me look with a full hair set! Nice one and thank you. Nice man to chat with too. Age brings experience!

Walk-in only which is usually fine, I am more than happy to wait my turn... but to get turned away a grand total of 5 times was beyond a joke.There was no genuine attempt to help me in any way, truly disappointing service. I felt like they just didn't care.

amazing barber great conversation whilst cutting my hair, great shave and a clean shop. amazing service and I won't be going anywhere else but here, great experience as always . 10/10

Tilo is an awesome barber. He does good fade cuts and delivered what I asked for (not my usual barber). Very friendly and conversation was great. Mainly spoke about fishing.... Definitely recommend this place!

The young barber took a great deal of time making sure my haircut was just right. Very good service.

Barber was a nice bloke.Gave my short, receeding hair a trim.BUT charged me $40. I've never paid such an excessive amount before. I wonder where the locals go to get their hair cut.

Bailey did an excellent job of my buzz cut. Enjoyed his conversation as well as that with the other blokes waiting. Highly recommend The Barber Shop.

This is a great barber shop. My husband decided to try a new haircut and the barber did such an amazing job. We definitely recommend this place.
