Great value for money, certainly won't go hungry and for $36.80 per person (minimum is 2 people) to try out different foods and with extra, if you can fit it in, it's definitelya bargain. Service was a bit slow to start, there were a lot of people but our server was as attentive as she could be. The food itself wasn't bad but definitely needed a bit more seasoning all around, especially the tempura sauce which was definitely on the bland side. I do recommend the Miso Beef, Beef carpacio, soba and the sushi/sashimi platter.

Excellent service from staff, food was fresh and tasty, a really good experience and I recommend you visit. We had the all you can eat menu, and didn't know where to start. So we ordered the octopus balls, vegetable spring rolls, beef with Udon noodles and of course some sushi. Next came chicken katsu, squid salad, fresh prawns and some other dishes, too many to mention. We finished off with green tea ice cream and black sesame ice cream, delicious.

Take away is in shambles and totally unorganised.Food is disappointing- sashimi looks like it has been hacked with a blunt butter knife and nori rolls were mostly rice and cucumber. Very disappointing

I went here tonight with family.Everything was amazing. Fast , friendly service.You guys rock.Our main waiter Liam , showed exceptional hospitality manners, he was friendly & helpful , polite & mature. He will go along way if he chooses to stay in hospitality.All staff were great, service fast & food 5⭐️. Will definitely be going back again. Please pass on out gratitude to Liam, he thought he was in trouble at 1st I think. He should be proud of himself

What a great meal. I've been to 5 or 6 Okami restaurants throughout Melbourne. Whittlesea is the best, the friendliest staff who come to you to see if you want to order more. The food is the freshest and tastiest. An overall fantastic experience, I recommend 100%.

Very nice staff, good quality food. The only let down was the rice, which wasn't prepared or cooked properly. The fish and meat was great. I hope to be back soon and maybe if the rice is better next time I will change to 5 stars

We have been here before and the service and food were perfect.What a difference a few weeks makes.The service was slow, and the food wasn't great.The teriyaki beef was so dry, the friend rice was bland and overall the food lacked flavour.It's such a pity as we were looking forward to our dinner.

Very disappointed, the beef carpaccio we were served came out frozen, nothing is fresh in this place. They have so much MSG in everything they serve, makes you drink water like a camel. I will definitely not be returning.
