Lesvos Shoe & Bag Repairs

5 Stars are not enough for this shoe and bag repair store. The attention to detail on my Coach handbag repair was immaculate. Along with that, I had 4 pairs of formal shoes which needed adjustments due to strapping being too loose. The repair and new fitting is just 100%. The work did not damage any of my shoes or bags, however the shoes I can now wear with ease as now they fit my feet well instead of the overarching straps being so loose.Absolutely fabulous service, kind, friendly and the staff definitely do go more than just the extra mile. Thank you so much for the repair of my sandals and handbag!!Seriously, you will not be let down by having repairs or adjustments done by Lesvos Shoe and Bag repair.

These guys have always been great! This time I took a pair of short boots to be soled. I was a bit gobsmacked at the around $95 fee but the boots were Minnie Coopers so I trusted them.The job they did was magnificent, totally exceeding my expectations. They were like new.Thanks guys.

What a welcoming crew. I've had a precious lamb leather jacket for 6 years that I've been really reluctant to alter -- I wasn't exactly sure that there was anyone around who could do it justice; until I was directed to Lesvos. Likely the only tailors in Wellington with the equipment to work on this type of thing. Their work is seamless (pun not intended) You can't even tell they did the work and my jacket looks much better fitted. On top, it was a fast service and the prices were great as well.

Two repairs done and both impressive. Firstly, water shoes - the Velcro was failing and although not a particularly expensive item to re-purchase it made no sense to bin them. The team at Lesvos have renewed the Velcro and done a flawless job.The second job was a well-loved pair of sandals. Scuffed, leather faded to a pale cream. There was some doubt about whether restoration would be viable but I accepted the risk. I am pleased that I did – I am really wow’d by the results. Photo attached - shame I can't share what they looked like before restorations because the photos really would have shown you how transformational the results are.Thank you so much to the team!

I can only wear one type of shoes, a certain pair of sneakers prescribed by my Podiatrist, due to my funny shaped feet. They cost me $300 a pair and last about 12-18 months. I took the two old pairs I have to Babu at Lesvos to see if he could fix them - the soles were totally worn through, and the fabric upper had come away from the sole. He said he would patch all the holes where the fabric had come away, and resole the sneakers. The patches were $10 each and the resoling was about $50.So for about $90 per pair I basically have, from two completely worn out pairs of shoes, two new pairs of shoes. I was amazed at how well the repairs came out. They look great, and you can't feel the patches from the inside of the shoe, or see them from the outside. I am very impressed - it has saved me a lot of money!When I went in to pick them up, I noticed they had so many pairs of shoes sitting there for people to collect! These guys are super busy, because people know that they are the best. If you need your shoes fixed, take them to Babu and his team.Thank you for your awesome work.

I needed my 10+ year old well travelled Samsonite suitcase repaired. These guys were on the ball, and have great opening hours. They provided me with an initial quote, confirmed the cost before proceeding, including fixing additional wear and tear which we briefly discussed when I dropped the suitcase off. They messaged me when the job was done. A job well done all for a good price.

Got my work shoes sole replaced, $120 so not cheap, staff were friendly, I was unsure if I should buy a new pair or replace sole on my current shoes. I was told they would be as good as new. Unfortunately within 2 days of use the soles started separating from the shoe. I took them back and they repaired them, again after two days the glue and sole separated. Not really impressed with their work, but they did give me a full refund which I give them credit for as the right (and legal) thing to do.

Replaced my luggage bag handle for $75, very expensive..

Your employee happily parked in a disability park in town, NO permit. Not a good look when your car has your business clearly written on it, and when there were 6 parks available, just around the corner! Disgusting, won't ever support or recommend your business again.

Took my leather wallet in to have a damaged dome replaced, they were able to turn it around in a couple hours while I was in the city. Great job, price was very reasonable & service was top notch! Thank you
