The undertaker that we met with in the first instance was very nice and that it where it pretty much stopped. Obviously being extremely upset we were told that we could email him any queries we had. He never actually answered any of my emails, I had to forward them to the generic email address, where I finally got the answers I sought. My husband rang numerous times, he was out of the office and never returned a call. There were a few issues with the body being released, we never actually got told that they had it. The gentleman assigned to us wasn't even at the start of the ceremony and we were greeted by someone we had never met. Thank goodness for our celebrant, he was amazing. We didn't have time to speak to the people that had turned up at the funeral as we were rushed off to the crematorium, by the time that had finished our guests had left. On the whole I was very disappointed. Today I received the bill and am disgusted at the amount we have been charged for sub par professional services.

William and Barrett and son. I still feel hurt by the experience I had with them while arranging the funeral for my Father. I was made to feel second to my brother and his opinions the whole way through.We were both shared executor yet somehow he was the one they needed approval from and that his grief was more important than mine.I was so close to my Dad and had so much more to do with him in his life.On the day of the funeral I was even told by Julie to park behind my brother, that even speaks loudly of how I was treated.My heart is still broken all this time later.

We had a very traumatic experience trying to arrange my father's cremation through a different funeral home, my mother was incredibly fragile especially, as a recent window and after being shamed this way. But Julie from William Barrett and Sons was incredibly kind, she even checked in with us when I told her about the past bad experience and asked if we felt supported by her and WB, which we definitely did. It's been five years now and I still remember how we were allowed to spend as much time with dad as we wanted, and how much that meant to us (especially my children/his grandchildren, who were still coming to understand the finality of death)Thank you again for your kindness towards us at the most difficult time of our lives
