I have been invited to this restaurant for lunch few weeks ago. And I was impressed. The food is delicious, I Tried the iraqi kababe and it's very tasty, and the shawarma as well.The prices are OK and the portion are large.I recommend this place to any one who love middle eastern food.

We had a work function here for 50 people and was excited to try the Iraqi cuisines.Shall Mako did not disappoint!Tasty platters packed full of salads, rice, chicken and lamb meat. Generous servings!You must try their freshly baked bread to go with their delicious dips.Serving was good and downstairs had a casual atmosphere. For a function, they were well setup to cater for a large group and had a large TV for presentations. You will to bring your own mic though because it can get quit noisy with a large group.Overall recommended you check Mako Shako out for work and personal dining.

If you ever want to try Iraqi cuisines, this is your go-to place. I had never tried Iraqi food before, but I had heard about Shako mako from my friends. This is my first experience of Iraqi food and it not too bad! We almost pretty much ordered different dishes as to explore. They make the Iraqi bread freshly in the restaurant, all food ingredients felt pretty fresh and of good quality beads the salads not looking the best. Their haves meat were quite good and so was the chips. Lamb cutlets looked good and came chips, dips and salad. HSP chicken was also good but chicken Parma was a bit burnt. Overall, food wasn’t too bad and serving was generous. Casual dining atmosphere. Service is okay. You get what you pay for.Worth trying.
