Just a friendly WARNING to anyone looking to get a roadworthy certificate on a modified car, I recommend that you carry out some due diligence first and seek out the best suited provider of this service to match your vehicle. Matt was friendly and fitted me into his extremely busy schedule for which I was most grateful however, with the benefit of hindsight, my modified vehicle was clearly not in his area of expertise which lead to a fail on roadworthy of a pristine vehicle. I was told that the my authorized mod plates were not enough and that I required the original paperwork which was not available to me. Matt pointed me in the direction of another service provider, by way of recommendation, to seek new paperwork. Said service provider put the fear of god into me and stated that i would be up for a minimum of $2,200 or more to obtain this paperwork. After 2nd and 3rd opinions from other independent car enthusiasts, I was assured that this did not sound right. I called a government authority in pursuit of said original paperwork and they too said that this did not sound right. Only at this point I carried out the proper due diligence and found the right people for the job - classic car mechanics with impeccable reputation and decades of experience. Roadworthy is now complete and car successfully registered with VicRoads. The VicRoads inspectors went over it with a fine tooth comb and stated that they rarely see classic cars in such fabulous condition. Whilst it is annoying to waste the $259, the real issue i have with MRC is the 3 days of unnecessary angst & sleepless nights simply because of lacking experience and / or poor advice. As I am extremely inexperienced and gullible when it comes to cars, I would like to think that the poor advice was not purposely done in order to get more money out of an unsuspecting customer as I was more than ready to pay the $2,200 plus dollars unnecessarily to get paperwork I didn't require. I hope this review helps prevent stress and waste of hard earned dollars to someone else like me.

Fantastic service. I have had a few RWC done there always do a great job on any repairs and services done at a reasonable price and go out of their way to get a good price on parts ie. I needed a windscreen for my new Fiat van, Fiat dealer wanted $1800.for a new one fitted. MRC got one for less than a $1000. Got to be happy with that. James

Goes above and beyond for customers, takes pride in their work and makes sure your vehicle is up to standards. If it's not they make sure you're well aware of what needs doing. Also gives options on whether they can/can't do the work there. If they can't you'll get recommendations on who can or where to go.
