Cherry Plum Cottages

Our home away from home. Comfortable, warm and well appointed. The garden is lovely, we feel relaxed and welcome each time we arrive. A nice walk into town, the cottage is quiet with the only sounds coming from an abundance of bird life. Dianne and Justin are great hosts.

We booked last minute and Dianne and Justin were amazing hosts. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage. It was super clean, full of thoughtful personal touches, including port, local coffee grounds and an assortment of tea. It has a bath, stunning outdoor area and garden and is a good 15 minute walk to the town centre. It was a great vibe, great value and beautiful historical cottage, we will definately be back. Thank you!

Fantastic stay for 3 nights. The cottage has everything you need and much more. Nice little touches such as the Port wine, chocolates baguette, jam and butter. And if we needed a snack, the delicious mulberries and plums outside on the trees in the garden, were just the tonic.Thanks Dianne for a great stay!

We stayed here in August 2018 in wet, cold and windy weather. The cottage was delightful, warm and cosy and very clean. It's set in a lovely garden with daffodils popping up in the front garden. Wonderful sense of history with lots of interesting historical items scattered around inside and out but still with all the comfort you could ask for. We were amazed at all the extras that were provided. Port Fairy and the surrounding area is well worth a visit even in winter. We found plenty to occupy us and stayed 3 nights. Dianne, our hostess, was lovely and very helpful. We have stayed in many places all over the world and Arrandoon cottage would have to be one of the highlights.K & J Pope, Geelong, Victoria.

Lovely comfortable cottage with everything you need. On the edge of town and an easy walk through the historic village for coffee or lunch. Host is brilliant, perfect for a few days. Llamas next door add to the vibe

Our two nights at Cherry Plum Cottage was very good. On arrival Dianne upgraded us to the two bedroom Cottage, Arrondoon. The Cottage was wonderfully restored and very well equipped for our stay. The cleanliness of the Cottage was to a high standard. The location of the Cottage while only a few minutes drive from the town presented a peaceful rural outlook. We were lucky to get one night at Arrondoon at Cherry Plum Cottages because it was fully booked in this period. But to be honest it is a beautiful place to stay. Very well maintained although the cottage dates back to 1862. It has all the expected comfort with 2 bedrooms, 2 large beds, 1 bath, living room, fully self contained kitchen, large veranda. Very confortable ! Very neat ! It's surrounded by nature in a very quiet street 15 minutes walk from the center of Port Fairy. The only sound we got was from the birds in the trees in the afternoon and in the morning. Beautiful. We always travel in family with 2 children and everyone was pleased.

Recently spent two nights in Ardlie cottage at Cherry Plum Cottages. It was an absolute delight. The cottage was immaculate, cosy and comfortable and the garden charming. Thank you Dianne for your hospitality.

We're just packing up and sad to leave this lovely place. The cottage has everything we needed, very thoughtful touches included. Comfy bed, lovely gardens, well equipped kitchenette. We will definitely recommend it to friends and family.
