4wd driving. Plan your entry and exit points precisely. Easier to get lost in the bush nearby as maps are outdated. This includes Google maps and NSW topo map. Sandy beach has sudden dips facing ocean. So if you are driving on high tide, a roll over is a real.possibility

The beach is okay but there is alot of people that drive on the beach that do not drive on one track which makes walking on the soft sand hard from the wheel tracks and also alot of people that drive on the beach will drive through peoples fishing lines they just dont seam to care just be careful if you are planning a day out with the family and keep a good eye on the kids because the hoons won't

Very interesting the mullet were running and numerous dolphins were herding and feeding the schools of mullet. There was also a large shark approx 1.5 Metres feeding on part of the school off the beach.

Great place to take your dog. Its leash free. Too dangerous for swimming though. Close to dog park. Would take the dog again anytime.
