Nova Employment - Liverpool

Every job you want to do is ‘unrealistic’. didn’t help wasn’t listened to. Job coaches thinks everyone is too ‘immature’ for a job. way to much unnecessary drama. i wanted to do animal care but that’s ‘unrealistic’. i got shut down.•wasn’t allowed to do tafe (tafe is literally WALKING distance from nova)•Got forced (didn’t have a say in what i wanted to do)to do work experience in a fast food (the Fijians) restaurant with a 16 month old baby running around in the kitchen touching hot pans etc. job coach didn’t care even though it’s a whs issue. The only job choices you can pick are hospitality, admin and retail NOTHING ELSE because every other job is ‘unrealistic’ don’t attend nova as you’ll be shut down, ignored and forgotten.

Horrible experience. I felt like I wasn't listened to and my needs and wants were completely ignored. Nova Employment Liverpool wanted to trap me in a two year training program that wouldn't give me any qualifications. I don't want to wait two years for a job, I want to start working towards one now.They were also oddly insistent on me allocating my entire NDIS job seeking budget to them, whereas I didn't feel comfortable with this and told them I would prefer to only allocate a little funding until I was sure I wanted to stay with them. The NDIS is meant to give participants more control and flexibility to choose their providers.Nova Employment Liverpool was not right for me. I felt belittled and ignored. They may not reflect Nova Employment as a whole, but the Liverpool location was horrible.
