Gastronome European Deli
I have been to Gastronome twice now first for a coffee and cake, which was lovely. I went today for a breakfast and wow, I was so happy with what was served. I have no experience with Eastern Europeon cuisine but the staff are awesome and know their stuff!Anyway, try this great business, coffee is really great and the food and setting is so much fun.

Terrific cakes and coffeeThis store in the Capalaba Central Shopping Centre is a combination of a cafe, deli and European supermarket. There is a chilled cabinet stocked with cheese and smallgoods and the cake cabinet is gorgeous and filled with unusual cakes. The European groceries are attractively displayed. We really enjoyed our coffee and cakes (a moist tutti frutti and carrot & mandarin). It was a bit pricey - but they were very special!!

It was wonderful! I had an awesome coffee (I really mean it) and cakes (i was intended to buy a honeycake but after I searched stuff in the shop and returned to the counter to make an order the cake had gone, sold, so I bought Napoleon which is also nice not too sweet with delicious cream), and friendly staff and we even met a gorgeous lady- the owner of the shop!

Great place for the stuff to feed your sweet tooth and much more. Lovely helpful staff will help and explain what is what as it’s not always clear with Polish, Ukrainian, Croatian, Slovak, Slovenian, etc.

Olga made me a honey cake for my special birthday 2 weeks ago. She matched my colours perfectly and the cake was exceptional. The hospitality at Gastronome is always superb, Olga and Nadiia are the perfect hosts. Thank you.
