Super nice location that’s free and hot showers and taps, amazing. Tents are allowed just be sensible and leave no trace.

Being able to take a warm shower at a free camping site is a great advantage. A large space is a great advantage of providing relaxation for many people. Unfortunately, however, there are only three toilets in the women's restroom and two in the men's restroom, so it is too small for a large place. It would be by far the best camping site if all the restrooms were added.

CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES! That’s all I have to say. There’s bins provided everywhere. Disgusting behaviour. People ruin it for me. Stopped through for the dogs to swim so it was good for that :) Thanks Lithgow council.

Nice place to camp, have camped here multiple time, can get a bit full at times and wet but a great free camp spot close to Lithgow. The only downside being you are right next to a commonly used road in some parts of the camping area so noise can be an issue. I will be returning to this camp site as it just cannot be overlooked.

A great escape, whether caravaning or camping, fishing and paddle boarding. Beautiful lake walks, close to shops. Lots of spots to camp.

Gave it 5 stars. As it is a great spot, but only if you go mid week. Weekends will be like sardines in tins

This is a great place to spend a few nights - 2 max.And there are plenty of birds and shade from trees. We camped in a tent even though most of the people were in RVs.It's quiet and secluded. I would definitely go back there again.

The grounds were great and well kept. Spread out lots of space. The toilets not nice and not well maintained. No loo paper for two days.Even though self contained it's nice to have a loo to use out of the van.Would recommend though. We visited on a weekend and it was really busy and some idiots but generally pretty good.

Pulled off the highway to check this camping area out and wow. It has everything we needed. Beautiful views, there is a kids playground area, dog off leash area, bbq's, toilets and hot shower although they could do with a tidy up, but it is free. The area we camped was quite dry, there were parts that were extremely boggy after all the rain we have had, but plenty of relatively dry areas. Will definitely be back. I believe toilet and shower is locked around 6pm. 48 hours only.
