So on the 26/7/2017 i spoke with a who i thought was a lovely lady who wanted to help me her name is sophia she works for the booking company Experience Oz. I thought i had booked myself and my daughter a beach horse ride. This is something ive always wanted to do. I thought this holiday would be the perfect time to do it!Sophia had trouble getting the Horse Riding Adventures to answer the phone in fact she tried for a few days. She had told me that she couldn't actually take the booking from me until she had confirmation from the actual company that took us out.Finally she told me she had confirmation. So i thought!!I handed over my CC details, had a niggling feeling that somthing wasnt right but continued anyways as these days thats what you have to do....Receieved both the Tax invoice AND voucher number. Rang the number yesterday as i tells me to call 48hrs in advance to confirm the booking. And that is where i got screwed over.Between both companies neither wanted to accept responsibilty for either A) not sending emails to show not only a booking BUT the payment for the booking or B) not checking incoming emails to see what has been booked through the company that the horse riding use for reservations over a month ago!!!!!So what does this mean. This means that my daughter and myself dont get to do that 1 thing that we had BOOKED and PAID FOR. We dont get to have our mother daughter day. If i had juggled other plans around yes i could have gone today but that would have meant a massive juggle for myself and other companies.Am i happy?? Absolutley not!!!. Yes i will get my money back, but i so would have preferred to go horse riding on the beach though.Word of advice. To Experience Oz dont take moneyy that isnt yours if its not confirmed and all legit. Regardless of what you say to me on the phone what you did was WRONG I WILL NEVER GO THROUGH YOU AGAIN. And to the horse riding. I could not find your number direct on line. You even said yourself that its not the first time this has happened. Learn from it then. DONT USE THEM. Let people go direct to you!!!You now have the bad review. Two customers who think your rubbish. Yourdown money due to my refund and the worse thing. Experience Oz gained money. They held my money and earnt interest on a sale they should never have made and BOTH companies now look dodgy as!!!!

My teenage kids loved this place. They went off on horseback while my hubby and I enjoyed the scenery. Must do if you are in the area

Our guide was really friendly, attentive and easy-going. The beach ride was one of the highlights of our trip.

I have left messages numerous time and no one has called me back, I am coming up to Port Douglas at the end of December and really want to book it but unfortunately no responses to date!!!!!
