Sounds Right Speech Pathology

We’ve been with Sounds Right since early 2019 and we’ve been so happy there! Laura and the team are wonderful, my son fits in so well there and despite Covid throwing a spanner in the works we were helped to transition to Telehealth so smoothly that my son kept making gains in his sounds. Highly recommend!

Fantastic staff and highly professional and competent therapists have been a massive help to our son and entire family to the point that he's flourishing in school in his first year. The progress that he has made over has been exceptional and astounding. The experience we have had is a credit to the organisation. Thanks and keep up the good work.

UPDATE- Our daughter has now finished up for the time being- however we wont be returning due to the cancellation policy which is ridiculous. I was in hospital and had a certificate for proof and was still charged the full amount $193.00. My daughter also fell sick a day before her session and again we were charged. Cancellation policy states must give 48 hours notice. Unfortunately kids fall ill at the drop of a hat, we cant control that and to still be charged when I had proof from the hospital is insane. Emma the lovely receptionist was great and tried to help out with my situation but unfortunately it wasn't her decision. I cant afford almost $200 when my kid or myself are sick within 48 hours especially with todays cost of living. Regardless of weather therapy is funded or not!Our daughter started speech therapy with Isabella in February this year. 3 months in and I am very happy with her speech sessions. Isabella is extremely attentive, knowledgeable, flexible, friendly, and is very good at communicating after each session and anything required in between sessions. At the end of the day I have received our report from the session along with any resources we may require. In addition she is very good at keeping our daughter engaged during the entire 45 minute session. Isabella is a big asset to Sounds Right speech and I highly recommend her to anyone.

Not sure the name of the therapist that came to my place, not sure if you'd even call her a therapist. She came out to my place, was a nice young girl but I don't think she had any idea what she was doing.She barely interacted with my child, the only thing she did say about him was that she can tell he loves the ocean. She wanted to take videos of me interacting with my child and she gave me a massive book that teach ways how I should be interacting with my child.30mins later she packed up and left, and sent an invoice for $480. 30minutes? She charged me $480 for a book and to take a few photos. I'm not paying you to teach me how to be a speech therapist for my child. I'm paying you for your profession. And no professional service was provided from your end.

I wish I could give Sounds Right Speech Pathology right 6 stars! We are so happy with this service. Patricia has an amazing team who are always so supportive and professional, not just with the actual therapy but with everything else that goes with itWe've been engaged with speech therapy with my son since before his diagnosis at age two until now (he's six and in prep) and Sounds Right have been there with us every step of the wayAlways 1000% reliable, I've never had to chase up a report or a letter, which makes a huge difference when scrambling for funding etc.Thanks guys for being so awesome. My daughter has had 2 different speech therapists here and both are/were excellent. My daughters current therapist Georgia is super friendly, very engaging and able to adapt her therapy to my daughter’s needs.

Anyone looking for a caring, supportive place for your child's speech needs Sounds Right is an amazing company. My Son has been to both centers and everyone is wonderful, cannot fault his speech pathologist and all the staff are friendly and welcoming.

My nearly 5 yr old daughter has been seeing Ruby at Sounds Right for about 3 months on a fortnightly basis and we’re seeing some great results! The sessions are engaging and the right blend of fun and speech aerobics to hold my wriggly 5yr olds attention. My daughter has established a good relationship with Ruby and looks forward to attending!

We have been attending Sounds Right for 18 months now and I couldn't be happier. My son has progressed so much thanks to the help , support and encouragement of the staff there. Our weekly therapist Ruby is friendly, kind and very professional and has been a true blessing to our family. Most recently I completed the Hanen more than words program and I am so happy that I did. Initially reluctant as a mother of a special needs child I wasn't sure I could find the time. Laura was the host of the program and was so understanding, professional and helpful. The program was great! It opened my eyes to the many possibilities of how I could be a part of supporting my child's communication needs and wants. I would highly recommend you invest in the MTW program as it's well worth it. As a bonus I met some wonderful parents on a similar journey which took some weight of my shoulders. I must also mention the Directors are also wonderful warming people who have always maintained respect and kindness throughout the tough times of the last couple years.As long as some of the waiting lists are Sounds Right is the speech therapy you should be waiting for.
