The Regents Park is an 1830’s Georgian Mansion that has been beautifully restored. The mansion, built for a judge, was originally part of a 1000 acre estate in the Maitland area. It now sits on 5 acres of magnificent sprawling gardens providing you and your guests with the perfect escape. The property is positioned in the heart of the Hunter Region and close driving proximity to Newcastle and Hunter Valley Wine Country (both 35 mins drive), Port Stephens, including Nelson Bay (40 mins drive). With easy access to the M1 and within two hours drive from Sydney, The Regents Park is the perfect destination for any occasion.

Beautiful property and spectacular gardens. Rooms have a oldschool feel with cosy atmosphere. The host Serena is very warm and helpful.

What an amazing place to stay, The Regents Park is a grand mansion, with charm, character and style. We stayed in the Tocal Suite, which had access to the library. We were not disappointed. Generously appointed, with ultra modern ensuite, huge shower. Ample parking on the street right out the front. Owners were very accommodating and the entire experience was first class. Check In was a breeze. We highly recommend The Regents Park, book ahead to avoid disappointment. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

This place is fantastic! Such beautiful gardens and the room we stayed in was lovely. Tocal suite I think it's called. Queen bed, comfy, good sheets, doona cover which is always a bonus in my book. Bathroom has a huge shower. Lovely library attached. Clean and tidy, well set up space. The smelly reed things were great too, not overpowering like so many of those things can be. Staff were super friendly and left us to our own devices, we knew they were available if needed. Highly recommend.

Simply one of the greatest hidden treasures, a 1835 manor house on 5 acres of gardens in Maitland. It is truly beautiful, fantastic.
