Sparrows in the Treetop

My dog Elle had six weeks boarding and returned to us happy, stable and healthy.

We have been using Sparrows for years and our dogs both have medical needs that require extra care. We feel safe and secure leaving them here.

Welcoming helpful owners and staff, wonderful atmosphere!Situated upon a mountain surrounded by mountains and valleys & creeks.Bird life abounds ..what a glorious place for a holiday. I was assured the pups had green space to have their exercise. I unfortunately didn't see it. My pup was a little hesitant to depart as he usually attends another kennel but when I picked him up he was joyous and so excited ..he looked so healthy and happy. We shall return!

Sparrows took such good care of Peppa. It gave us peace of mind while we were on holiday to know that she was in good hands.

Mav our German Shepherd has had multiple stays with Sparrows in the Treetop. Friendly staff who all go out of their way to make sure all families and animals are cared for. Mav is always so excited for his special holidays there and always returns smelling amazing!!

15 year old Rusty spent 12 days at Sparrows only his second time away from home. Rusty is my first pet Dog and I was very worried at leaving him.Well all that worry was unnecessary as Rusty has had the Best care and was happy to see me and was in good shape when I collected him.Thank you to the wonderful staff for looking after my Rusty so well it is much appreciated. Elly has stayed at Sparrows twice (Xmas 2021) and last week while the family was interstate. Gary and his team looked after Elly very well and she returned happy and smelling wonderful. The pet transportation is very handy as well. I have no hesitation in recommending Sparrows.

They threw away our high quality cat basket made from waterproof material because our cat had apparently pooped in it when it could have been easily just wiped clean. We’re quite disappointed and annoyed because it wasn’t cheap and hard to get in Australia, and not to mention it’s our cat’s favourite place to hang out in. We would’ve appreciated them asking us first at the very least.Because this place runs a kennel as well, there is constant dog barking which is not very settling for cats. It didn’t help that we couldn’t see where the cat would be staying at to help ease my mind. Every other cat boarding we have used previously have regularly updated us with photos of the cat settling in, but not this place. It’s not a deal breaker but something to consider for some people.At the end of the day, other than losing our favourite cat basket, nothing really went wrong, but we’re not very impressed and we won’t be going back here.
