Redcliffe Little Athletics

Athletics is a great sports activities for the kids and opportunity to meet new friends across various clubs. Competition nights for this club is on Friday's and training on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The club is slightly disorganised, however some improvement this year.The fees for this club is over $100AUD more per season than for the other clubs around the region.My experience with the Centre Manager over the last three occassions we have attended has been extremely bad. The Centre Manager has been extremely rude and unprofessional in his manner and conversations with myself, completely against the code of conduct for LAQ. Due to my work and other commitments I am typically not able to arrive more than 20 to 30min before the session start to help set up. The last three occassions when I arrived I asked if I could help with anything, instead of pointing anything out that I could help with I was met with a sarcastic comment everytime that it is already finished and it would have been good if I was there an hour ago. He then ran a spiel on how much time he has committed to the centre etcetera. I am very glad that there are people that can commit the time required, however that is not the case for everyone and some has limited capacity, I was just trying to help with the capacity I have available.Unfortunately I have had the experience with the Centre Manager, all other people involved are lovely and nice to deal with.If you are happy to pay a premium and not interest in getting involved you will have a great time at this centre, however if money is scarce or your keen to get more involved I would suggest another centre, e.g. Deception Bay, Bracken Ridge or Arana Hills, all great clubs.
