The best take away shop. Staff are awesome so friendly and nice, hard to come by these days. Fish is always fresh and yum. Best chips and Gravy. You won't go anywhere else after eating here.

There are at least half a dozen fish and chip shops in the local area, but Mac's takeaway are the best by a country mile. My wife and I have been going there for years and have never had a bad experience in terms of both food and service. Cam and Ellie will be receiving our business for years to come.

Been there a few times and the food is always really fresh and great quality. Had the fisherman's basket for one and was enough for myself and two toddlers. Also great service and super friendly!

Had food from here yesterday. After reading the reviews, decided to give it go. The meal was really nice & still hot when we got it home. We ordered the family package. Very fresh. Generous portions.Will definitely go again.

First time to this gem today, owner has been doing this since a kid, and it shows fresh ingredients great batter. Efficient service and top bloke. A lot of shocker chipos around but this is a winner

I have been going to Mac's Takeaway for over 30 years. Cameron who is only the 3rd owner, is a genuinely friendly guy who cares about his business and the food you buy. I can recommend them Whole Heartedly.It is well worth the visit.
