Awesome new brew-pub that is dog(and cat)-friendly! All the beers we tried were fantastic with a good range of styles - they really know what they're doing! Wood-fired pizza was delicious - don't expect fast-food"

Did several breweries for a bucks night and Future Magic was, by miles, the best! Comfortably the best beers I’ve had anywhere in Brisbane and the staff were top notch… super accommodating, helpful and friendly. Highly recommend

UPDATE:Sean, I do not need to know anymore about your outside food policy. As stated, we were more than happy to pack the outside food up into containers and a carry bag. When that was not allowed, we were more than happy to get a refund for the pizzas and leave. That’s when the completely unacceptable comments were made, and that’s why this is not suitable for a ‘private’ discussion. Racism is far too often swept under the carpet. Everyone, including yourself and your company, should join in calling out the behaviour and making a public stance against it. We did not ask to be publicly attacked and humiliated. Calling out such behaviour is perhaps what you should also do.What was the purpose of referring to your recordings? Do you intend to deny the behaviour? Do you intend to make other interesting allegations? There is so little that you appear interested to learn. It appears as though you will be protecting the person responsible for the impactful behaviour.Perhaps put clearly visible signs up to advise of your food policy to avoid having staff ask people to leave. From the other reviews, it appears like a very common occurrence. Interesting business practice.-ORIGINAL REVIEW-Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. The General Manager, a grey haired woman, told my Latin family that they couldn’t have food from the Latin food truck down the road. We had also ordered some of the amazing looking pizzas on the menu, but they were taking a while so grabbed some cheese sticks and empanadas while we waited. We were happy to pack the outside food up, which we did, and we asked for a refund on the pizzas when the woman was very direct and rude. She then said that two other groups of patrons had complained about the smell of the food. The food was as common as a meat pie and had no discernible smell. Of course she denied saying this when I, a western, white skinned guy with an Aussie accent, asked her if she complained about the smell of the food. The racism to a group of otherwise quiet and well paying customers was not something I could accept. I made sure everyone knew what she had said to my Latin family while I wasn’t present. The Argentinian cook then began to curse in Spanish at my family and friends and even shaped up to fight them. He had no idea what had happened and probably felt very protective that I was telling all the staff how racists she had been. I recommend that he double check what he is being paid because if she has any say in it, he may be getting less then he is entitled too (but of course he will swear she isn’t racist because his job depends on it, right?).Also, be careful. The refunds showed up on our credit cards as additional charges, which seems to be similar to quiet a few other reviews on here. Will be following this up.Just cannot support this place. I have never had a problem not eating outside food at a venue, and I have never had something like this happen, ever!! The other staff were very nice and accomodating but I could see that they were used to placating situations that the woman had stoked. If the beer wasn’t good and the pizza didn’t smell wonderful, I would recommend that you give this a wide berth. Instead, I ask that you take your friends who speak languages other than English and attend this place in droves. People like her have no place determining where others can and can’t feel welcome. Real Aussie’s say welcome. Real Aussies say, “How dare you, woman!” And complain to the owner until she has no position to do this again!

The pepperoni pizza was epic, way better than expected from a brewery, can’t wait to try the other pizzas next time. Mango passionfruit beer was a good surprise, usually drink pale ale but hope to try their other sours!

Fantastic new local brewery. Great beers, pizza and fitout. Dog friendly and the feeling of “Cheers”. Only downside is it’s not closer to my house.

Amazing service! Kind and Professional staff.. food was amazing and the atmosphere was electric! Especially on game days!! I've seen a few bad reviews due to large bookings, and or being booted. I can tell you they can and do accommodate large crowds as long as your not disorderly. (Most people are not). These people where foul mouthed and abusive towards the owner who was only trying to protect his patrons that were not in the group.. these guys are amazing people. Beer is tasty, food is amazing and the service is 100% welcoming!!!!!.

Pale ale is my favourite, a great session and the staff were great considering how many of us turned up without enough warning (150 odd).

Great little brewery that will only get better. A huge selection of beers and ciders on tap as well as great wood fired pizza. The HUGE fan was a great addition that really cooled the venue down.
