Freedom - West Gosford

My Son & his girl recently bought a dining suite from Freedom. It was delivered flat pack, this is after they were told that it would be assembled and the packing taken away. My Son called them and was told it was Policy that they do not assemble or take away packaging. He was convinced that the Sales person said it would that he asked me if I would call. I did and spoke to the Manager Leo. I must say he handled the situation very professionally & arranged that day for it to be assembled and packaging taken away.I understand that this may not be their policy but in this case there was a doubt and he acted correctly.I would most certainly recommend Freedom West Gosford. There was a problem and Leo solved it, job done, thank you.

I bought new curtains which are beautiful and high quality. The biggest asset of this store however is the staff. They’re extremely helpful and friendly. I’m disabled and one of ladies was an absolute angel and helped me carry all the shopping to my car. I’ll be sure to return whenever I need anything for home. Thank you very much!

I have always found the staff to be helpful. I did purchase a lounge suite, timber table and decor items. I should have purchased a better quality lounge as not having arms on one section is not ideal for comfort & one section squeaks as you sit!!My table purchase....was FAULTY. So my disappointment is mainly with AFTER SALE SERVICE.It took 2months to replace, with NOT A SINGLE MESSAGE, until I sent rather a blunt message to them....all I needed was 1 (one) longer screw to enable me to secure the leg.I had unpacked a HUGE box ONCE ALREADY....Freedom DO NOT have people to assist in assembling your FLAT PACK purchase, so I was hoping the young men delivering the replacement, might AT LEAST help me unpack the second box....'no mam, we dont do that'.I am happy with my table, however there is a chip off one of the timber slats..I did buy the table for indoor outdoor use and its light weight for ease to move, AND I dont want to go thru CUSTOMER SERVICE AGAIN.I may only be buying smaller decor items after careful scrutiny for damage or faults.

Pleasant experience friendly sales staff and an easy purchase. Very long lead times though

Worst experience went to buy a doormat...hello copper finish reduced from $40 to $19.97. Salesperson charged me $24.Despite me saying it was the lesser price still got charged and then found it on the website for the correct price $19.97I'll be shopping online or elsewhere never a good experience at this store ever.

Customer service at the West Gosford store was non existent on Sat 18th July around 1:30pm. Entered the store 20 minutes prior and not one sales person greeted us with a hello or offered assistance. Instead the ladies stood around the service desk having great ol’ chat. Thought I’d walk around the store to the other desk and to my surprise the exact same thing, ladies standing around chatting. If we were offered assistance we would have purchased our new lounge from freedom. However after 20 minutes we gave up and walked across the road to Nick Scali, we bought our new lounge from them instead.Would give 0 stars if I could, lift your game up freedom. Train your staff better! Shame on you.I can see by looking at the reviews, I amNot the only one who thinks customer service lacks in this particular store. I think the manager has a lot to answer for. If it were my store, this would not be happening and would be rectified IMMEDIATELY.

Never will I step foot inside this store again!My husband and I wandered around the entire store testing out several leather lounges without one acknowledgement or offer of assistance. The only eye contact made with me was when one staff member, behind the counter at the back of the store, looked me up and down then turned away.From what I could see, there was one other customer in the store who was greeted by a staff member as she moved closer to her but this same staff member turned away as my husband neared her.There were a couple of younger staff members in the accessories section who I wouldn't have expected any acknowledgement from as they were working hard and I could see were focused on their task.Exiting the store, the same three staff members who were engaged in conversation at the entrance of the store when we entered, were still chatting away amongst themselves.If the store has cameras, I would encourage playback around 12.40pm 18/8/22 to corroborate this review.Thankfully the other stores in the centre were happy to assist with our search for two king beds, a leather lounge and two wall units.

The store manager Leo has been fantastic to deal with. We purchased a sofa bed that didn't quite fit through the doorway of the room it was meant for. Leo gave us some options of other sofa beds that would fit and assisted us with an exchange. Fantastic customer service!

After sale service appalling. I purchased a lounge and they outsource their complaints. No one will talk to you in store. Same external company came out twice and said there was nothing wrong with the lounge. Fabric wore quickly and I will have to replace the lounge earlier than I would should need to. Also very uncomfortable. Won’ t buy or recommend them to anyone. Buyer beware!

Couldn't have been more helpful! I bought the wrong colour curtains, phoned them to see if they had the right colour and Katie (I think that was her name) was terrific. Found the right colour, the receipt on the computer and made the change with minimal fuss... thanks for a great experience!
