Glenelg North Beach

Lovely beach located just north of the Glenelg Marina.Note when the tide is up you can’t really access all of the beach, the waves go all the way up to the rocks!

Great place to walk along the beach.

It’s a pity people don’t always pick up after their dog nor do they have them on a leash at the required times. it seems to be a break the council rules beach area.

Clean, quiet area. Sparsely populated on a friday afternoon. Dogs permitted on the beach only on lead. Nice walk walk with my puppy. Other dogs well mannered and equally their owners. Everyone respects each other, when out with pets.

Lots of sand, fair bit of water. Being a beach you kinda expect it.Few birds around, mostly seagulls. Humans, dogs, dolphins and the occasional crab stampede.Will return regularly

One of the best beaches to take dogs. It’s an off-lead beach all year around! Often there’s lots of dogs especially in summer- always friendly and friendly owners. Great area to walk and a variety of scenery (boats, clean beaches, dunes, jetty). Safe area to swim and gentle/ still water most of the year. It’s a must visit in Adelaide especially if you have dogs.

You can take a leisurely stroll along the jetty and take in the views, or cast a line and try your luck at catching some fish. The only downside of Glenelg North Beach is that it can get quite busy, especially on weekends and holidays. However, even when it's crowded, the beach is still a beautiful and enjoyable place to spend time. Overall, I highly recommend Glenelg North Beach for anyone looking for a stunning and accessible beach experience. The views, amenities, and atmosphere are all top-notch, and it's a great place to relax and unwind.

Small little spot of beach with plenty of rocks. Dogs are welcome. Has water fountain for dogs too. Closest public toilets are 900m away so be aware.

A bit dry beach. It's sandy. Hard manage a parking around. The beach is not well shaded by trees.
