Good place for camp. Food could be a bit better but still overall experience was amazing. Love the isolation and lack of mobile reception although would be good to have internet for planning. Beautiful place. The 'Burma Bridge' is a must. River is really nice and general atmosphere is terrific. As good if not better than competitor Vision Valley. Flying fox could be longer but still is fun. Hope to come back one day.

The road leading to this place is winding and you cannot fit two vehicles on many parts of a 3-km stretch. However, this is for Hornsby Council to address instead of the centre. The facilities are good and adequate. Don't expect 5-star type of accommodation though. If driving to the venue, make sure to ask for a code for the boom gate, otherwise you cannot enter. We didn't have a code handy, mobile reception was poor, and unfortunately no one was picking up when we pressed the help button near the boom gate.

Great place for camping, you get the kayak on the deal as well just for $39 on a weekend 2 nights camp. Pool, basketball court, tennis court, volleyball court, bbq onsite hot and cold shower bush walk track, flying fox and many more

Good kitchen facilities, mattress normal youth hostel quality. Staff bit cranky, especially cleaner (got barked at for kids supervision without cause....)Main concern, was not made aware of lake water unsafe for swimming(enterococcus high levels), management did not warn about same and no signs displayed.

We camped here for 3 days and 2 nights. I like the place because it has flying fox to play, basket ball court, canoe ride. The creek was beautiful. The road in and out to the premises is very narrow as its one car size road. So be mindful about going in and out the premises. You only get in when check in and get out when u need to check out.

Just loved it all,The only thing that would require attention is the road to it, can be a bit tricky for new drivers

Mixed feelings about this place. I've stayed here many times for conferences but I'm yet to warm up to it. It's lovely on the river, and has a big hall with a good kitchen. But it's poorly designed with the conference centre at the top of a steep hill with the parking down below. The rooms are cramped with uncomfortable mattresses, and you can't lock them so don't take anything of value. There's no mobile phone service so no one can reach you. You need to clean your room and the entire conference centre before you leave, which is okay except there aren't enough cleaning supplies for everyone.I like that you can use the kayaks when you wish, and the camping grounds on the other side of the precipice are a good place to camp. The pool is nice and the blow-up obstacle course is fun. There's a small play area for the kids by the river but not much else for young children.I'm sure many people like it, but it's only somewhere I go because that's where the conference is booked.

You need to be a very good driver to travel here with their sharp turns on the cliff. Beware if you cross path with a car going up as you are driving down. Can be difficult without the fear of falling off the cliff. The place is great for camping and getting away from the city air. However, it is not a luxury hotel. Beds are noisy, bathrooms are average.Although, Kitchen is high quality for self catering and the multimedia equipment is well maintained and excellent. The area is overall beautiful with its lake and freedom to use their canoes whenever you like. The staff are accomadating and very helpful. If I could, I would give a 3.5. but I round up for it excellent nature vibes
