Love Nails

I have been getting my nails done for over 10 years routinely and never written a review but the shear disgust I had on leaving this place deserved a review, a 1 star review. I went in for an acrylic set with shellac and requested coffin shape. After shaping I asked politely “sorry, could they please be more tapered” to which the nail technician yelled at me 3 times saying “it’s too late” and that next time I need to ask earlier (rest assured there will be no next time). i was taken back not only by the yelling but that I’m still unsure how much earlier she’d have liked me to ask this as she had only finished shaping at this stage. I suggest they learn the difference between square and coffin, and also learn some manners. Additionally, it is cash only which is fine if they tell you prior but the sign was covered by their pamphlets and therefore illegal as they’re not notifying customers prior. Extremely taken back by this experience with my square and wonky nails even after requesting more tapered.

Heard the tech talking on the phone in the toilets. Came out with apron on and only washed one hand. Seriously unhygienic and disgusting.

Went for a pedicure & to get shellac nails with design. Was very happy with the service & they matched the end result of nail art to what I wanted. They didn't rush which was a highlight & checked with me each step of the way, to the shape of the nails, length & design. Would definitely be back!

I rang them and asked could I make an appointment. She said yes and told me to come in an hour and how much it was going to cost $15.00. I arrived them they were busy told me to come back in 15minutes. I did. Sat down removed previous polish then halfway thru said we need $20.00 cash; before they did anything else. I agreed but was annoyed that they did this. Very unprofessional and will never go back.

Was told it was an hour wait… absolutely fine but then as i’m sitting across from the salon waiting, I see 4 other people walk in to have their nails done. Absolute joke of customer service. Won’t be going back!

I've been getting my SNS nails done here every 3 weeks for the last 22 months and I always leave happy! Affordable prices, lovely staff, always do a good job, and on the rare occassion I snap a nail they will fix it for me free of charge!

Mind my ugly hands, but I’ve been getting my nails done (acrylic with shellac overlay or SNS) here for three years now and I’m always happy with the result, best range of colours and services, not to mention the low costs. It costs me $40 for a for a regular set here when when it costs $55 for a regular set at the local chain businesses.

I went to Love Nails today for a pedicure and a full set of acrylic nails. My mum passed away last week and I wanted nice nails for her funeral as I’ll be wearing her engagement ring. I have naturally very short nails and asked for natural extensions. They did a terrible job and part way through I told the girl they were not what I wanted. At that point I got quite emotional - more because of my mum passing than the nails. I told them about the funeral and apologised for my tears. Another lady came to finish the job but made them worse. I told them again I was unhappy and the lady started yelling at me telling me I was not happy with the first girl, not happy with her, not happy with anything. I told her i was emotional and told her she needed to be kind. At that point I paid and left. It was an awful experience and I would absolutely NOT go here for any services. I felt humiliated, belittled and unheard. There was no compassion or understanding at all.

Not sure why this place hasn't got the best reviews. A little annoying they only accept cash but I've always had a good experience here. Always very accommodating when you just walk in wanting your nails done.
