The best IT specialist in Melbourne with a reasonable price. I need a unique Microsoft Surface Pro SSD migration with the entire OS and personal data. Abar is the only place that can migrate the whole data without implementing a new OS out of the other five stores I been enquired, the best place to fix your IT problem!!!

Michael is a legend. He's been running Abar for 27 years, surviving entirely off word of mouth. I spent weeks troubleshooting a very strange GPU/PSU issue, gave up and took it to Abar. Michael spent a day or so testing every single component to isolate the issue and find a fix.Super friendly and hard working guy with very fair prices. He really cares about the work.

I called them prior to taking in my laptop to ask them how much it would cost to repair - they told me they would have a look at it and let me know. I took it in to their shop, and a week later they called me back and said they needed to replace the hard drive and its $250 or something like that. I was shocked as1. I thought it would be a simple software fix and not replacing hardware2. They replaced it without consulting with me first.I was selling the laptop and I would have made more money selling it for parts. After I told him I was disappointed they didn't consult me first as requested - he told me they would knock back the price to $120.Cool, so I paid for it, and I get home and they had taken my 256 SSD, and replaced it with a 128SSD!!Again without telling me they were replacing it with an inferior SSD and SIGNIFICANTLY downgrading the laptop specs.Do you need to act like used car salesmen??

Went in to get a screen cable replaced. Got home and the keyboard was faulty. Took it back and they charged me $80 to replace the keyboard (which was working fine before I took it to them) Got home again and this time the track pad was not working properly. Took it back and after an argument they fixed it. Now Ive brought it home and it wont start up properly. All the subsequent issues only occurred after they had opened my computer up. Will not be going back.

Abar computers is a great store.They performed very quick work on my laptop and charged a very reasonable price, and the work that they did was performed to a high standard. Michael is very professional and outgoing and gives the store a great feeling. If I have any other issues with my laptop I will definitely return, and I would recommend it to others. Gave them a laptop that needed a fan and charging socket replacement. They told me the laptop couldn't be fixed (no explanation) and returned the laptop with a now non-functioning screen. I understand if they can't fix something, but receiving it in worse condition without any explanation is extraordinary.At least they didn't try to charge me for it.

He was one of the most pleasant person to deal with.He realised that job on my laptop was small and he gave me great advice for minimal cost.That guy was so great.I will go back any time I need to fix my laptops or PC's
