Lumus Imaging Nundah

I had a great experience with Lumus. I totally recommend this place for ultrasounds, especially with Travis who was extremely gentle, nice and detailed in the whole procedure. I will definitely come back again

The worst experience of my life. DO NOT go there for pregnancy scans. My 8 week scan was done by a guy with the bedside manner of a 5 year old. My 13 week anatomy scan, the guy did not communicate to me that anything was wrong with the baby at all. They sent me home with a USB with images if the scan. A phone call from my Dr 5 hours later (6:30pm on a Friday night) informed me that there was a serious problem with the developing babies skull/brain. I CANNOT believe he didn’t say anything, or ask me to wait while they talked with my doctor. Delivering bad news is hard, but it’s got to be part of the job. I am traumatised by this experience.

Lumus service and staff are great, but I think that is unnecessary to use plastic, disposable sheet covers, when surely a paper one would do? The super high level of disposable and single use items within our health care system has gone too far. Does Lumus have an environmental policy to reduce this?

Unprofessional, passive aggressive behaviour. So bad I left halfway through my ultrasound. Horrible bedside manner. I have never felt this uncomfortable in a treatment room ever. This staff member needs investigating.

The lady who served me at the counter to make my appointment should not be in a public facing role. It was inferred from the initial interaction that she did not want to be there, did not want to assist me and that assisting me was burden she in which she had to endure. At this point I have not yet had dealings with other staff or other services so I can't rate beyond this.The whole interaction made me feel like I did not want to go back there in the future. First impressions are very strong.

Had a scan today and the technicians name was Hayley. She was so lovely and professional, if I ever need another scan I will be asking for Hayley to be my technician again. The reception staff were helpful and welcoming.

Good place, have always gone here for heaps of scans over the years but they have all of a sudden stopped bulk-billing, this makes me not want to go here anymore and hope they can reconsider for people who simply can’t afford necessary scans like myself.

Bad experience. My wife had her Xray and ultra Sound done on Tuesday 13/6/23. We expected results will be sent to our GP after 48 hours. However when we contact our GP on Friday 16/6/23. The Lumus Imaging still haven't send image results to my GP. I contacted Lumus Imaging Monday 19/6/23 morning the reception told me. The X-ray and ultra sound images still haven't been checked by the Lumus Imaging doctors. My GP waiting for the results to provide treatment for my wife. My wife are waiting treatment to get well. Bad experience.
