Very close to the Ballarat train station . A large selection of pies and tasty desserts such a as lamingtons. They do a good coffee also. Staff cheerfully supply sauce at no extra cost and toasties are also availableClose to cinema and art gallery also .

I just want to say a big thank you to the lady working in the shop yesterday (Wednesday 26 April) who noticed that I’d dropped my hotel keycards and made the effort to watch out for us passing again some time later and came out to call to me and return them. Thank you! I appreciated this so much and probably didn’t express it well because I was so taken aback that I’d done something so silly. First rate service and care, and I am extremely grateful.

Evans' pasties taste nearly as good as what mum used to make, to an old recipe`. The staff are friendly and their chocolate hedgehog is delicious, and a generous size. Evans' prices are reasonable. Worth a visit.

Old school pastries, pie was hot & fresh but too runny. 4 indoor chairs & tables and some outdoor seating. Friendly service.
