Bluff Rock Lookout
The fire places are great even though we didn't use them. OK the sites are not level but I have seen worse and the long drop wasn't that smelly. As they say you get what you pay for and if it's free well it's a bonus.There was some road noise and there was a 'gas canon' going off in the distance intermittently but all in all we would stay here again.

Quaint stop on the road. 2 Good size shelter with huge fireplaces. Oozes local charm and history.

An impressive rock feature with a sad Aboriginal story of a massacre. The view was partly spoiled by poor design planning placement of a long drop dunny.

Needs a good clean-up dead trees are going to fall onto vehicles one onthe western side the top has broken off but is still caught in the branches be very carefull

We've been here before. About 5 years ago. Long drop generally out of paper so always remember to bring some. Great veiw of the bluff and local mountain ranges. Information board on local area history. A couple of huts with fire places, 1 with bbq plate but you'll have to light a fire. Close to road so if your sensitive to traffic noise don't stay. Otherwise great for a 1 nighter so do yourself a favour

Amazing how these massive outcrops of massive rocks end up after erosion looking awe-inspiring sitting alone upon a Ridge. Nice area for a stop with toilet facilities with also seating with covered areas to just chill. There is a creek that runs at the side of the rest area which is fun to explore whether you go either way.

A lovely place to stop for the night after a long days drive. I felt safe, it was clean and a beautiful view.
