Optus Bathurst

Customer service was excellent. Left the store fully connected with my new plan including switching from another provider. Thank you!

Excellent service from the staff. If you are an optus customer and you can't get things sorted out over the phone then go into this store they have their act together.

We recently visited the Optus Bathurst store, with a sensitive issue with my wife identify data. The matter was handled very well.

Upgraded from an iPhone 11 to the iPhone 13 through the Optus website. On recommendation of Optus went with the eSIM rather than a physical sim card, however despite following instructions it can't be set up, Optus technical support team can't figure it out either, so their advice is to go to the nearest store for assistance. Help support all chat based, a good waste of an hour.

4 visits with a wait time each time and they couldn't provide me with information about their own nbn plans. Online and phone service was worse. I no longer have an nbn plan with optus.

Couldn't recommend optus Bathurst enough. you guys have got yourself an amazing salesperson there!We are road tripping and went in to see what the general prices are on phones. Callum got us set up with 2 new phones on plans, heaps of accessories plus a nbn connection for home all the way in Brisbane. We were certainly not looking at walking out with anything, but Callum was BRILLIANT. So so helpful and all of the staff was kind an amazing! Such a personalised and lovely experience. Thanks guys!!!

I was greeted by a friendly girl. Her second day. Callum swarmed in like a great white shark, totally hijacking the dialogue. I am a Telstra customer, looking to switch due to larger data allowance. I was asked fo ID. Due to only having a digital licence, I had to go all the way home to get other ID. On arrival back for the second time, I was waiting for Callum. He walked straight past me to a fresh customer. As I waited, I asked the new girl if I could be contacted via SMS when Callum was free. She asked him. He said that I will just have to wait. He didn't 'ask' if I was free to wait a moment. He basically dictated saying 'come back a bit later'. He is very cocksure and I just said 'you cannot just send a courtesy text to let me kbow when you are free because I don't want to have to come back for a third time to find you are busy'. He just said 'come back I will be done soon'. I just threw my arms up and said 'I am done'. Callum said 'have a good one' while not even looking at me. This is an appalling way to treat anyone, let alone someone who was going to move providers. Management need to get this cocky guy out of their store.The one star is for the new girl. She was nice.

Today 1st June 2021I took my Nan into the store to enquire about her phone bill.The young man was rude and had zero customer service.When the young man spoke to us it was very abrupt and never looked at us when he spoke and it was like we owed him for his time.I will definitely be taking my nan off Optus and will be moving her to Telstra.Customer service doesn’t happen at Optus Bathurst.

I learnt what customer service isn't about today. The Optus store in Bathurst treated me with complete disdain when I went into their store with a problem. I spoke to a young man about my problem, he went to his, I assume, manager, who spent a whole 10 seconds listening to what he had to say and said NO. The young man came back to me and passed the message on, he was the messenger so I didn't take my disgust out on him. I quietly walked out of the store vowing never to set foot into it again. If this is the stores idea of Customer Service, god help anyone who asks them for assistance, as there isn't any offered. I have to give a star rating for this to be posted. If I could give zero stars I would.
