Northern Rivers Stained Glass

I have purchased the most beautiful piece of art, made by Northern Rivers Stained glass. I jumped in as soon as I saw it...luckily because many people have asked to purchase it since. Not only is her art stunning, but Maire is also offering a gorgeous range of glass, workshops and all the tools needed. So good to see such a vibrant, colorful, creative space opening in Lismore.

Did a beginners copper foil stained glass course and loved it. This studio is amazing and Maire is a passionate and fun teacher. Support local artists and learn something awesome.

Just finished the lead light workshop on the weekend run by the beautiful Maire. Educational and easy going. Loved it.

The stain glass workshop was so good. Loved learning all the basic techniques in a relaxed environment. Maire is a great teacher, attentive & corrected techniques in a soft manner. She allowed freedom of creativity and what I really admired was how openly she treated the ideas of some people in the group, like a new technique was being born. The whole experience was lovely and I wouldn’t recommend a better place to do a workshop.

Just completed a 2 day stained glass workshop with Marie and enjoyed every single minute. Marie is a natural teacher who walks the delicate line between practise and theory. I entered the workshop with zero knowledge of the process and left with a full set of specifc skills to keep working on my own projects. Small class numbers and Marie's welcoming and relaxed attitude are the best!!

Thanks Maire at Northern Rivers Stained Glass for your professional, prompt and reasonably priced service. I went in looking for a piece of glass to repair a broken piece in an antique window and found the piece, had it cut on the spot and then also had a re-cut completed when I had the measurement slightly out. Nothing was too much trouble! The result looks great. Also I didn't expect to find a range of beautiful handmade locally crafted gifts as well. A stroll in this shop was a feast for the senses. I left with some stunning glass cut to my measurements to repair a window AND a pair of handcrafted ceramic earrings!

So impressive! What an inspiring atmosphere filled with colours, art, smiles and joyLove it!
