We booked the Hotel for our sons 1st birthday and hired the upstairs room and balcony. The event was excellent and the staff were fantastic. However we discovered the next day that the chicken platters that had been served were raw in the middle. This caused myself and 2 other people to be sick. After contacting the hotel and advising them of the situation we were told that someone would get back to us.Once contact was made by a manager and the situation was explained. I was told that he would get back to me the following day. This was not followed up and after text messages and phone calls from my end I finally had a call back. The end result was a defensive stance stating it was probably only 6 pieces of chicken that were under cooked? I was then presented with a pitiful offer to resolve the situation I was also denied the contact details of the venues owners and told that this was the end of the matter.

We are 4 friends - we meet every 3 months for lunch - my friend A liked his fish very much - but mostly food was very average - too salty, too greasy - coffee was fine ..Would I go there again - probably not.

Service as usual was excellent, but the meal, which is normally excellent, was out of this world. Huge thanks to the chef for an incredible meal. Best roast I have ever eaten.

A family favourite, we love sitting near the playground for the kids, very nice and relaxing with the beautiful greenery. The heaters outside is a bonus. Great food, and friendly staff!

We had a wonderful experience! We held a lunch to celebrate our daughters birthday. The venue was perfectly suited with a playground in the alfresco area. The food selection was great and suitable for our group of 30 pax. Staff were lovely, professional and accommodating. We will definitely be back whether it be for another function or a casual visit.

I booked a table for 11 family members, including children, in the Alfresco area for a Sunday lunch to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our table and a few other groups were set up for a sit-down meal. There was another large group that had their table set up as a buffet table so they were all standing around eating, drinking, and talking in the Alfresco area. This made it hard for us to access our table and it felt like we were sitting in the middle of someone else's party- very awkward. The children couldn't get to the playground without navigating a group of adults who were holding drinks and plates. This area should either be booked out as a private function or have all groups seated for their meals.Trying to do both at the same time doesn't work and makes an uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone.

Farthers day lunch - pre crumbed chicken schnitzel look like it was straight from woolworths deli section $24 and squid that gave you 4 full size pieces of squid and 2 tiny cut offs $24 ... no desserts offered on farthers day menu not even garlic bread on menu. Not worth the money really disappointing !

This place is an absolute gem. Food looks and tastes great. The plates are amazingly original and go well with the cuisine.Top it off with a playground that can keep kids occupied while you can eat in peace and enjoy each other's company.Highly recommend this place, especially for parents who struggle to go out anywhere to dine in with their kids.

Great, friendly staff never been here before but made to feel very welcome. Excellent schnitty, thick and juicy. Clearly make their own chips which were fantastic. Smallish menu but I'll certainly be back. Highly recommend.
