We came from Sunnybank just to check the place and it not disappoint! Great food, good portion and affordable price! And the service was amazing!We had a lasagna and the risotto. I was so happy that they made the risotto vegetarian under request, even though it wasn't on the menu.Would definitely come back!

We've lived in Forest Lake for 12 years and had a pizza from here for the first time. Many years of saying we need to try this place!Ordered the Gallino Gourmet Speciale. Lovely base and sauce. Definitely trying another one!

I love supporting local businesses & after reading all the good reviews we decided to try Gallino Pizza. Upon ordering staff mentioned the wait would be 20 minutes max, however we ended up waiting over an hour for x2 pizzas & x2 pastas on a Sunday night.I wouldn’t have minded the wait if they produced quality food, however everything we ordered lacked flavor & was unfortunately not worth the money we spent which left us quite underwhelmed.

This hidden gem in Heathwood is a must visit. Located just off the Logan motorway, I dropped in for some takeaway Pizza and Pasta on the way home, it was ready in 10 mins, freshly cooked. Wonderful atmosphere inside, plenty of seating, will certainly be visiting for the full dine in experience every soon.

The food is amazing! Very talkative owner, though. However, he has a good heart and understands the value of hard work and effort, and his wife too. Love this place. Good Italian fare with a touch of intrigue. BYO although interesting small wine menu. A little gem in this otherwise barren landscape of good food.

Had an early dinner with a friend who recommended this family owned restaurant. The owner and the staff were all welcoming and really lovely. Food came out quick, hot and delicious. Highly recommend spaghetti bolognese.

What a great restaurant friendly staff quick service, I had the Penne Alla Gallino which was a good size portion the pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. My friends wife had the Tortellini Alla Panna and he had the Risotto di Pollo which they both enjoyed very much both portion size were of a good size. We also had garlic bread with cheese there could of been more garlic but still we still enjoyed it. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We got lasagne and fettuccine Alfredo with red creamy sauce. It was delicious and the portions were great. We are looking forward to try another pasta soon.

I’ve reads lots of good things about this place and we live only a few streets away so we ordered 2 pizzas (and found out we were the very first to ever order through their website)The kids had a ham and cheese and my husband and I had the pollo pizza - it was $24 each for a medium pizza and they were a decent size LOADED with toppings and the crust was beautiful, even my 10yr old daughter commented on it. We got chips too and they were alright but probably should have gotten 2 between the 5 of us. Would definitely order again and try the gourmet gallino speciale.

Brisbane you are missing out on fine Italian dining at very reasonable prices, great atmosphere even though place was nearly empty. Give it a try before the crowds find out. You won't be disappointed!!!
