Use this company at your own risk. I had some renovations done last year and my builder subcontracted Concord Timber Flooring to install flooring. There were SO MANY issues. The skirting was incorrect, the installation was very poor quality, to the point where I had them back on multiple occasions to fix the detail. But that was just the start. Then in less than six months the nosing on the stairs split. I tried for approximately 8 months to have them come back to fix this one piece of stair nosing. Yes, you heard me – 8 MONTHS! If I wasn’t chasing, then it was radio silence. I’ve never heard so many excuses in my life!!! Including, wait for it, I didn’t engage him directly. So I guess it’s not only consumers beware, but if you are looking for a subby I’d avoid this guy!!!! What was a minor and completely fixable problem turned into a major drama. he finally turned up. But because I'm upset about my experience with his business -he simply left the piece of timand told me to find my own installer. Professional? No. Duty of care? No. Quality product and customer service? No. The only place I wou this company to is the SmallTribunal!EDIT: I won’t lower myself to the same level. I will merely provide a chronology of the requests and allow the good public to make their own determination on character. It is one stair. It was used in the same way any person would use their stairs. I am a mother with a teenage daughter so hardy a high foot traffic household. I would expect installation to be able to last longer than six months of light usage. No other stair was in the same way:4/10/21 - initial outreach to Sam to advice that one of the nosing pieces had split and come away. Sam responded to advise he will look for extra piece to replace.10/10/21 - asked Sam for update and advised it was becoming dangerous and a trip hazard. Sam advised taping it in the meantime27/10/21 - followed up again - no response9/11/21 - followed up again - no response13/11/21 - followed up again with increasing frustration. Advice back was that it was ‘the busiest time of the year and booked through January. I will let you know when a spare minute’.29/11/21 - I asked if Sam could at least give me confidence that he has the piece. Sam advised he understood my frustration and thanked me for my patience.16/12/21 - Sam advised the piece finally arrived and he would like to come and fix asap. I advised that I was away and happy to wait until the New Year.18/1/22 - advised I was back and ready to make time.7/2/22 - I followed up to make a time for the repair. No response.7/4/22 - I followed up again. Expressed my frustration. Pleased to please fix the stair. Sam said he would. Tried to make a time but unfortunately I had covid.4/5/22 - reach out again to confirm that I’m better and can we make a time. No response.9/5/22 - reached out again to ask if we could do the coming Friday. No response1/6/22 - Pleaded again. Advised I had visitors coming again and I was embarrassed to show that the stair hadn’t been fixed. No response3/6/22 - Yes. I left a comment about posting a scathing review. I’m sure if you have had the energy to read this chronology you you would understand why I am upset. Not surprising it was in the basis of this communication that Sam arrived today.I’ll leave you to draw your own conclusions about actions and integrity.

Just want to say Thank you to Sam and his team for the amazing job they did with our floors in the extension. Sam is extremely passionate about his work and provided honest opinion about our choices. The showroom is beautiful, clean and presents the quality of their workmanship. I highly recommend Concord Timber Flooring and will be using them again for future renovations.

Sam and his team did a fantastic job at our house, and we could not be happier!We visited the Concord showroom, which is comprehensively fitted out, and was met by the lovely Zara. We were sold after she explained that her husband, Sam and his team would be fitting the floorboards, not a sub-contractor.We did seek quotes from two other companies, and even though Concord was not the cheapest, we were sold on Sam and Zara’s professionalism and the fact that Sam and team would be installing the floor and there were no hidden costs associated with the installation.We really appreciated Sam’s honesty and he answered all our many questions regarding flooring. He also provided great advice on what type of flooring to install, as we have two dogs that live inside so we needed something that was hard wearing.The team installed flooring in our lounge, dining, hallway and two of our bedrooms.
