The Dancing Spoon
I had a late lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the Eggs Benedict (with an Asian twist!). A great coffee too. It was chilly but I wanted to sit near the door to watch the people go past. Service was great and staff were attentive. It was a quiet day so there was not a lot of atmosphere but there was good music going. I got such a nice feeling when an elderly couple came in and were greeted so warmly - they seemed like regulars and ordered cakes and hot chocolates (I loved this!)

Fantastic experience at the Dancing Spoon, I absolutely loved the orange and almond cake, the flavour was amazing and it was so moist with a great texture! I also loved my vegan brioche burger, the flavour was amazing

First visit to the Dancing Spoon & definitely won’t be the last. Such a lovely cafe in the heart of Glenelg. New owners who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They’re still settling in, and we waited a little longer than anticipated for coffee and breakfast, but it was Anzac Day and they were busy. Honestly though, the overall experience was excellent. Absolutely loved the Thai Omelette, and the Big Brekkies were a hit with the boys. Prices are very reasonable, coffee was great, and what we loved the most (besides the friendly service) was the creative twist on the usual breakfast fare. It was a breathe of fresh air and delicious! Worth a visit if you’re looking for a warm welcome, great food & good coffee. We will be back!

The best carrot cake in Adelaide!! Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely cafe in Glenelg. The staff are so friendly and prompt, the food is really fresh and yummy, the coffee is great and the milkshakes are delicious. This is the 3rd time we've visited in recent weeks and it never disappoints. They have a new breakfast menu available which is what we look forward to testing next time. !!5 stars from me !!

This place has a lovely feel and nice people running it. Very impressed when it first opened. Interior is bright and welcoming. The banana cake was lovely and the quiche (though overpriced for the size) is yum. However of late, it has been hit and miss. Some of the cakes have been dry to actually hard to cut, the coffee at times bitter and burnt.Pancakes I had recently took an age to come out and came out stone cold when they did. Not sure what took so long when they came out cold. Looked more like pikelets in the Golden Crumpets range that you can do yourself in the toaster - except these were not soft nor pleasant tasting. These were dry and tasteless - not worth $12.50.Not sure we will be back as it's wasting hard earned money and there are plenty of other cafes in Glenelg. Go back to basics of serving good, hot food and decent coffee.

An interesting breakfast. I had eggs Benedict with seaweed on top but no mention of this on the menu. Also the big breakfast had a homemade sauce, we were expecting a chutney but it resembled a dip which was spread over nearly half the plate and it did not taste nice.Coffee wasn’t great, it’s was in a large cup but with no taste
