Nice and clean gym with plenty of machines to choose from, pity the cleaner's at mega zap in glenorchy don't have the same standards

Great gym, the music is sooo bad after they took away crowd dj. It's the same 10-20 songs every single day on loop. You hear the same songs everyday and it drives you insane as it's very loud as well.

I had a problem with my account and that made me pay 256 dollars, for just two weeks of usage.Don't get me wrong, the gym is a nice place, but the issue that I had, gave me a bad image of Zap as a brand.I entered my card details to join Zap, after that I thought they received the payment as I received my membership as well, but apparently that payment didn't go through. Zap contacted me asking for that payment through text messages, but to be honest, my phone thought those messages were spam, as they were coming from different 04** numbers and asking me to enter a sketchy link (I thought it was a scam).I realized all that happened after receiving an Arma email, asking me for 256 dollars as an overdue fee.I contacted both Zap and Arma to explain the situation, but apparently they didn't care about it.

Been going to over a month not a single problem go environment people are respectful

Great gym with top-notch facilities. The washrooms need to be cleaned more regularly but apart from that cannot fault it!

Gym membership from $9.99 per week. Equipment is in reasonable condition. The staff are always friendly and helpful.Has small car park for about 36 cars outside the building off the road.

Packed gym with some pretty inconsiderate members. We joined during Covid-19 and it was a nice experience with available machines then - now it's a nightmare trying to get a machine. Even experienced people using two machines at the same time thinking that was somehow ok when busy. Customer service also a nightmare. Have had to call three times to cancel membership and they don't open phones until after 10am and even then, VERY long wait times to speak to anyone. No good, don't join.

I've been a member at Zap for 10 years, and 3 years before Zap acquired the business. The gym is a good size, fully equipped for a wide range of physical exercise for both men and women of all ages. The secret is continuity and commitment to a full effort at each session whether you feel like it or not. Over time the physical benefits are substantial. The most amazing outcome is, my 7 sessions per fortnight costs me about $3.00 per session. Zap does not provide training, the instructions for the use of each piece of equipment are located on the equipment, this is an insurance issue so do not expect any instruction. Personal trainers are available at a per session rate. The facilities are clean, members put the equipment away after usage which results in a tidy gym. Car parking is always available anytime of the day. Showers and Toilets are available for both men and women. The membership is highly skewed to the under 30's however there is good number of over 50's men and women.I love going to the gym as I feel the strengthening it gives my body at each session. No aches or pains, no stiffness, no shoulder tension. Strong stomach muscles.. and I sleep well

Spacious gym with many smith rack machine available, which is so much beneficial element compared to other Zaps. Crossfit could be available doing it myself as all the tools are there.

Great gym with heaps of equipment and plenty of space.Multiple showers so you don't have to wait.Friendly members and staff as well.Can get a bit crowded still during the peak times but so does every other gym.Thumbs up.
