The shop is always dry and water on the floor told staff they just threw paper towel on the floor like what the actual... staff are so rude and disrespectful... no one seems to know what is going on or what's happening.. not a very good way to run a store ... would rather travel extra miles to shop at Ormeau woollies ..there may be one or two staff members that ate great but the rest ..no respect for uniforms or shop rules ... my God it's so bad

Whilst this is my absolute favourite Woollies with an awesome Deli & layout, the lazy Staff let it down. Not wanting to wait in only 2 open checkout lines with only a few items, I decided to go through the Self Checkout & an item wouldn't Scan (Deli Sausage) due to the Shrink Wrap being shrivelled up. Trying to get the attention of the Staff Member who was way too busy flapping her gums with what was obviously an old acquaintance, while the people in the checkouts were gone. Needless to say, she couldn't get it to scan(what a surprise) & was rather miffed she had to enter the digits manually! I was under the impression items that didn't Scan were FREE!

It's getting harder to shop here, shelves are always empty. Same again today (Tues). They have SO MUCH TUNA that it took me 10mins to find the crab meat. I did get a jar of Patak's tandoori sauce for $2.50!The staff are very nice though, enjoy their assistance very much.However, asked for the background music to be turned down (7:30am) and was told they couldn't!!! Absolutely painful and couldn't concentrate on my shopping. Left shaking and then had to go back today for 2 items I forgot to get. It's BACKGROUND music, it shouldn't be blaring. All shops, not just Woolworths, need to have a cap on the volume. It should not be set to what the kids working in the shops want.

Checkout girl on 13/05/2023 Saturday at 8:20am at the self service was absolutely useless excuse for a human and rude. I tried to use a gift card and asked her for help and she shrugged her shoulders and said 'i don't know' and then went and helped someone else. So I stood and struggled with the stupid machine, it tells me I can enter the gift card pin and I do and it beeps over and over everytime I press the enter button, meanwhile she still doesn't come over, she is now standing not helping anyone ignoring what was happening. I ended up paying in full without the use of my gift card. I won't be back to this Woolworths and I'm calling the local area manager to fix their standards. Train your staff better

Staffing levels are poorly rostered.Shop after 6pm as hundreds of others do and wait at registers.3 staff rostered on a Wednesday evening 8/3/23 at registers. 11 customers queued with very full trolleys, one person roster for register. (The Wait time was immense)Self checkouts- One person rostered with five self checkouts used, many people queued for this also - Woolworths at this store have to removed the 6th self service checkout so that they could put extra impulse items there. They care more about how much customers purchase than the customer experience, it seems.Rostering like this causes frustrations towards staff and it’s the management team that are responsible.I spoke with the manager who rosters for the registers (Kelly) and she dismissed the feedback and simply did not care.Of course, this was the next day when she was rostered 9/3/23 Kelly had 7 people working at the registers after 6pm. From my experience shopping at Woolworths when the manager or the register manager is rostered on working, they will have plenty of staff rostered, when those two are not rostered you will find that they have minimal staff and no customer service. Woolworths regional managers need to look into the store, because the management team look after themselves and seem to care very little for team as demonstrated.

Moved to the area less than one year ago, never have I ever purchased so much rotten meat (in date) and rotten fruit and veg. Recently purchased yoghurts to go home and find they were already expired and when I phoned the lady said thats impossible, bring them back and hung up on me.I also have had to notify staff that all of there milk was 4 days out of date in the fridge. The staff are generally friendly... but not fresh food at all. Dont start me on the carpark, I have been in road raging incidents as well as witnessing, and also had my car hit and run there with police being involved.Too many estates and suburbs all living over the top of each other just needing there groceries which are sadly overpriced and rotten.

Went to the holmview store today. Got a product that had a yellow $6 ticket and when I got to the checkout scanned at $9.50. Told lady at self serve I didn’t want this as scanned wrong, she then said I will get it checked. Another lady went to check the price confirming it had an ending yesterday ticket still on it so lady said I will change the price to $6. I then added that don’t u get the item for free if it scans incorrectly, she said no we just match it. Being a service manager myself knew this was incorrect but didn’t push the argument just left it and walked out so always check prices.

I've never had any issues with staff, service or products at this store. I do find the people at the entry who are trying to sell or sign you up to products/services annoying. While I am not mean or rude to these people, I would like to be left to shop for groceries.
