Im a complete novice with regards to karate. Jason is approachable and accommodating to all skill levels.Its a physically demanding traditional style of Karate and Sensei Jason holds nothing back in training getting the most out of students, adult and kids alike.Only been doing it a short time but i absolutely love the extremely physical nature and conditioning that it brings. If you want something to push you to your limits especially on the physcal conditioning days this is for you.

I have truly enjoyed training here at Senjo Cairns, I practice both Kyokushin Karate and Yamane-Ryu Kobudo.I can't rate it highly enough. I love the classes, the atmosphere, the challenge, and the sense of achievement that I get from being pushed hard in a very supportive and fun environment. I've never felt so capable, physically, mentally, and spiritually, as I have training here. Also, what I love most is the realistic self defence that is taught in class. Something that is important to me, and I have learnt so much more here in several months than years of training at other martial arts schools.Sensei, Senpai, and the other students are great people, nothing but good, positive vibes at this dojo. I travel from Gordonvale to Kewarra Beach to be able to train here and it's so worth it. Highly recommended.
