If you’re at home, reading reviews, trying to decide where to go - stop right now and head in to Ace of Fades! I’ve recently moved into the area and needed an urgent, quick tidy up, so I went into the store and that’s exactly what I got. The guy I seen was so experienced, had a steady hand and made sure everything lined up perfectly. On top of this, he was training another guy - multitasking like an absolute pro! Being a person of colour, I’m very particular about my hair being cut by someone new. I had no time to be picky on this day though, but glad I chose Ace of Fades. Can’t recommend them enough! 10/10 would return.

When I sat down and the barber asked what I'd like I did my best to describe what I wanted, I asked for a high skin fade with a messy pushed forward look and he assured me that was a crop, After brief small talk he went about the cut without any further communication. Had a straight razor on the bench but didnt use it for the skin fade. At about 3/4 the way through he used a brush and pressed so hard into my scalp that I have bright red scratches coming from my hairline to my forehead. Lucky I dont have an event where I'd be getting photographed this afternoon. Then he revealed the final cut and the crop looked like a bowl cut. I asked if we could make it messier so that it doesn't rest so straight and he just messed it around with his hand and left it at that. Didn't really seem to care what I wanted. Was in and out in 20 minutes or so. Probably won't return

The name Ace of fadez is so appropriate for this joint.Our man Marco is indeed an ace in his work. The shop is beautifully set up.I had my best and refreshing cut in a long time today.You have got yourself a loyal customer today.Keep up the good work.Edit:I think Marco has left and without him the place has turned into just another joint where they cut some hair on the sides and kick you out in 5 minutes flat. Still got charged the same though.So disappointed and looking for another place.Not going to take back 5 stars, these are for Marco.

Best barbar ever to cut ur hair ,i was very happy and satisfied with his jobAnd will always come to that man .If u have a wedding or go out with ur girlfriend I recommend this man he always works on chair number tow, will get you the best style haircut.Thanks u guys .

Don't know the barber, never heard of the shop. Came here based on the reviews and every single one of them was true.First hair cut in 3 years, my man made me feel at ease and gave me the cleanest skin fade I've ever had.Ridiculous value, lovely venue and mans a master of his craft. 10/10
